About the adventure
North of the Spine of the World and west of the towering Reghed Glacier is a frigid expanse few dare to explore, let alone inhabit. For two long years, the god of winter's wrath has kept the sun from rising in Icewind Dale. Suspicion and desperation eat away at settlements plunged into perpetual darkness. And still greater threats may loom on the horizon. Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden is a tale of dark terror that revisits the forlorn, flickering candlelight of Ten-Towns and the many bone-chilling locations that surround it. We will begin playing when we have between 4 and 6 players. Each session will be three hours, every other week. $20 per player per session.

About me
I want to run your dream game. I've been running games for four decades now, and I still absolutely love doing it. I'm a retired college professor with a PhD in English Literature, and I'm currently working as a corporate trainer, but this seems like a fun thing to do on the side for some extra spending money. I'm also a published author. I wrote a handful of adventure modules and contributed to a few sourcebooks for different games including D&D and 7th Sea, and I've written scholarly works on depictions of the Catholic Inquisition in Gothic Literature and the coming-of-age story in English-speaking countries around the world. What I like most about meeting a new group is finding out what kind of stories they want to tell and helping them tell those tales.
