About the adventure
Starting in a tavern, you and several other adventurers are looking for work when a new job is posted on the job board. Since your team is currently struggling for money, you decide to take the job. Explore the path the job takes you on as you search for whatever the person who hired you wants to find. With some twists and a good balance of story moments and combat, you'll start your journey learning DND. The journey is a standard fantasy; think Lord of the Rings or Narnia.

Creating your character
Character Creation will happen before the session with me or, if you feel like you don't need help, you can go to dndbeyond and create your character on your own.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You should have accounts for dndbeyond and discord and have discord and a browser (like chrome or safari) installed on whatever device you're using. Mics are required if your device doesn't already have one.
What Synticsys brings to the table
My Gm style includes (my best attempt at) different voices, a general relaxation on rules, and the priority to have fun.
Homebrew rules
No ammo tracking so you always have infinite ammo, potions are bonus actions, and 'explain instances.' Explain Instances are events when you feel the rules should allow you to do something; if you explain your line of thinking to me then I'll allow your idea to happen if it also makes sense to me.
