About the adventure
I have completely fallen in love with Lancer. The mech combat that is easy to pick up, yet endlessly mechanically complex. All while there are so very many mech frames to mix and match into your perfect playstyle. The World building that imagines a idealistic and hopeful Sci-fi future, a flawed utopia, hard pressed on all fronts, frustrated by resource limitations and political opportunist. Yet no less determined to build a better future. And the pilot combat that… well it exists. You can technically use it. If you so wished. Look no game is perfect. Miguel Lopez-Hall and Tom Bloom have given us this queer coded, fascist bashing, Mecha action packed masterpiece. And it is a damn shame that so few people know about it. So come join me, and learn how to play Lancer. Makes her own isometric battle maps, because free time is overrated. Narratively, I hope you like things weird. My goal is to always make a setting as unique as possible, and give players the flexibility to interact however they wish. I typically run games through Foundry VTT, though I will consider other options if requested, Voice chat is always through Discord. I also typically make kit-bashed Lancer tokens custom for players. higher quality coloring, and animations can be done on request for a fee. What illy colorpunk brings to the table
This will be broken into two sessions. during the first we will go over the basic rules of Lancer, a little bit of the lore, and creating a character in Comp/Con. For the second session we will have a short combat and roleplay scenario to get everyone familiarized and give a taste of the action.
