About the adventure
It's always night in this corner of the Abyss. As you tread among tombstone and mausoleums, you see the walls of Elegy, the city of undeath, loom above you. Ghouls. Phantoms. The occasional demon—as you peer from behind a crumbling gravestone, you see them all...going about their daily business. But beyond, Elegy's glowing, decaying resplendence—and somewhere inside, the queen of undeath herself. The Lady of the Dead. The Revenancer. And where she is, so is your goal. Now, it's just a matter of getting there without becoming a ghoul yourself...and how you'll steal back the fountain of youth once you find it? Well, you'll have to figure that part out when you get to it. Vengeance Reborn is a level 20 short campaign adventure from the critically-acclaimed Uncaged: Goddesses adventure anthology. Uncaged: Goddesses puts you and your high-level hero in the middle of deific conflicts all across the D&D multiverse. And as you pursue your quest, just remember—every villain has her reasons. About me
Ladies, gentlemen, and friends from beyond the binary—well met, and a pleasure to meet indeed! As you step inside, do please leave your boots at the door. All settled in? Then come, and picture with me the following… A group of four, clad in the colors of their order and armed with weapons of the Old World. They tread with caution through the decrepit remains of a once-proud public library—best to be wary of the new librarians. Or instead, imagine this—a devil-horned man and an angel-winged woman ready their suppressed handguns, stack up on either side of a door, and nod beneath the flickering fluorescent light. The point of no return is nigh—if the gods won’t act, they’ll handle it themselves. Or picture yet again—pandemonium! The lich-king has won, and skeleton warriors run amok in the streets! There’s no stopping them now—how will you survive? These unique worlds and more await at my table. Players new and experienced alike are welcome—the only requirement is a good attitude!

What Carson | Fabled Folklore Gaming brings to the table
The magic ✨, including beautiful battle maps, music and soundscapes, lively NPCs, and more. I also have the materials on D&D Beyond for making characters with official content, as well as a Google Drive folder full of official references and curated third-party publications for the homebrew aficionados.
Homebrew rules
My house rules are generally modest and all targeted at pain points I've identified in D&D5e after running over a thousand game sessions. I use some simple optional rules from the Dungeon Master's Guide to streamline the game, a small number of spell tweaks, and a change to the exhaustion mechanic that encourages players to proactively help one another stay standing in combat rather than engage in "yo-yo healing".
