About the adventure

Even though Johnny Silverhand's foolhardy attempt to destroy Arasaka was over twenty years ago, the effects are still being felt in 2045. City Center may as well be an irradiated crater, half the city is a combat zone, and those living in Night City are fighting for their lives every day to survive. Gangs roam the streets, controlling whole neighborhoods; there is barely a city government to speak of. There is scarcity... and yet, there's also opportunity. Cyberpunk RED explores a world after what should have been an apocalyptic event. There's danger, but there's also hope. There's chaos, but there are also people banding together. There are corpo bastards, and there are punks trying to bring them down. Those who make it in 2045 will set the tone for the events of 2077. This is a City full of opportunity... will you have the will to take advantage of that? This campaign is both an intro to Cyberpunk RED and the world of Night City and also a sandbox experience where you and your fellow players will try to make it in Night City. There are jobs to do and rent to pay. You got what it takes, punk?

About me

I'm someone who's always been into creative and roleplaying games in someway or another for as long as I can remember. I started in play by post and played that for more than 20 years before I even started exploring dice-driven table-top RPGs. I feel in love immediately and as soon as I got a grasp on a system I tried to run it myself. I started by running a custom campaign of Star Wars by Fantasy Flight. Since then I've run games of DnD 5e, the Alien Cinematic Scenarios, Cyberpunk RED, Star Trek Adventures, and Marvel's Multiverse. I'm currently learning SIFRP and the One Ring system. Part of the reason that I love DMing is that I'm obsessed with story telling and involving others in the story. At some point I'd like to create games like these or perhaps even become a writer myself. Things are up in the air right now; all I know is that I want to do more, DM more, and tell more stories.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will do a session 0 where we will create characters as a group. People who join after will have to set up a time in between sessions with me since character creation in cyberpunk can take a while.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

All you need is discord and roll 20, I will provide as much of the rest as I can!

What Locke brings to the table

Roll20, rulebooks, etc. I like the Rule of Cool, especially in Cyberpunk, where the whole point is "Style over Substance." Cyberpunk is about being a badass in a dystopian world and living out that fantasy. If you're having fun, I'm having fun!
