About the adventure
In the frozen north of Faerûn lies Icewind Dale, a land locked in an unending winter. For over two years, the sun has barely risen above the horizon, and a supernatural frost grips the region in a deadly embrace. Crops have failed, trade has withered, and hope itself is beginning to freeze. This eternal night is the work of Auril the Frostmaiden, the cruel goddess of winter, who has claimed Icewind Dale as her domain. Each night, she casts her magic across the sky, ensuring the cold never relents—and those who live here must endure or perish. In the scattered settlements of Ten-Towns, survival comes at a cost. Food is scarce, warmth is fleeting, and fear spreads as quickly as the biting wind. Some towns have turned to desperate measures—offering sacrifices to appease Auril. Others cling to fragile alliances, hoping to outlast the cold. But the endless winter is only the beginning. Beneath the ice and snow, ancient secrets stir. Lost ruins from the fallen empire of Netheril lie buried, holding powerful magic long forgotten—and dangers better left untouched. Strange creatures roam the tundra, unseen forces whisper in the dark, and something far older than the Frostmaiden herself may be awakening.

- Character creation will take place during our session zero but feel free to start creating beforehand. D&D link will be given once session is joined. -Characters will start at level 1 and progress as the story unfolds. -Multiclassing is allowed for characters (E.g. warlock 1/rogue 1) -Home-brew/3rd party: GM Approval -Ability Scores: Standard/Point-Buy (will allow for rolling stats as a table if desired) -Starting Equipment: Standard class/ background equipment
