About the adventure

A deadly fungal infection called the saprophytic plague is ravaging Fanewick. The plague not only targets beasts and humanoids but also destroys crops and stored foodstuffs, causing them to rot, spreading famine and sickness on an epic scale. Religious and civil authorities are unable to stem the tide of the saprophytic plague, and even arcane ministrie's spellcasting hasn't undone the greatly magical contagion. The first step in the mystery surrounding the disease is discovered when your friend from the Lazarus Library in Haven sends you a missive begging you to regroup with your party for one last job. She reveals a crumbling, yellow lichen covered journal with a title that the people infected with the plague mutter to themselves before death: Xanthoria. Who wrote this book and what will the text within reveal? This is a high level one-shot with lots of combat and mystery, madness and disease. Optimizing character builds is encouraged. Content from 3rd party creators is allowed at GM discretion.

About me

I've been a GM for many different types of games over the past 13 years. I started on SPG with D&D 5e but I've mostly been running Daggerheart since it came out. I've also run Avatar Legends, Root, Wildsea, and many others. I'm super easy going, love crafting collaborative stories with awesome character arcs but also love to just goof off and have a good time. I pride myself on being flexible. Whether you like tactical combat, roleplay, or exploring an in-depth world, I can make it happen. Firmly against using AI for any of my games. I don't use AI generated art, story/plot, or maps. Everything I use is made by human hands and minds.

How Dimitri creates a safe table

I will provide a checklist of topics that will be off the table for everyone to fill out prior to the game. We will also have an open discussion about boundaries. Because this is a one-shot this will not take up much time. A short discussion and then onto the game.
