About the adventure
Under raging storm clouds, a lone figure stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. The vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stares down a sheer cliff at the village below. A cold, bitter wind spins dead leaves about him, billowing his cape in the darkness. Lightning splits the clouds overhead, casting stark white light across him. Strahd turns to the sky, revealing the angular muscles of his face and hands. He has a look of power—and of madness. His once handsome face is contorted by a tragedy darker than the night itself. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind’s howling increases as Strahd turns his gaze back to the village. Far below, yet not beyond him, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd’s face forms a twisted smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knows why they have come—all according to his plan. He, the master of Ravenloft, will attend to them. Another lightning flash rips through the darkness, its thunder echoing through the castle’s towers. But Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind—or perhaps a lone wolf—fills the midnight air. The master of Ravenloft is having guests for dinner. And you are invited. Campaign for 2-5 player character with some experience with Role Playing games using Roll 20 and the Dungeons and Dragons 5e system. Play will be on Roll 20 and over Discord for voice and Communication and community.

About me
I have had 35+ years of experience with Tabletop Role Playing games (TTRP), 30+ years of which I have been a Dungeon Master (DM). I have only been doing online RP for about 5 years. I have been creating my own content for years, but I also use official Dungeons & Dragons publications for my stories, and I am more than happy to run PCs through the Official Module of your choosing. I am flexibly and cater my playstyle to my player group, customizing each campaign to ensure each new adventure is unique and to your play styles and liking. I'll bend the campaign make it fun for all my players if you want to feel like heroes or antiheroes. I own both D&D 5th edition source material, as well as Roll20 content, giving my players an array of material to choose from and platforms to play on.

Creating your character
Character Creation will be completed in Session Zero with the creation of level 1 characters. Players will be allowed to create their own characters before session Zero and either review them and modify them during the session or make them up then. During Session Zero I will go over the safe play techniques and cards system so everyone has a good time and give the review of house rules if any.
Looking for a good balanced party that are interested in roll play as well as combat. The idea is to run the whole of the Ravenloft campaign or as much as my Player character would like to run.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a computer, a microphone, Discord for voice chat during the game and may want a Camera to share with the DM and Other Players. Players should be knowledgeable about the rules and game system of Dungeons and Dragons 5e to some extent and should consider getting the books. Players should have a Dnd Beyond account to keep their character in and a roll20 account so they can see the gameboard.
What RPGPotomus brings to the table
For this gaming experience i will be using the Dungeon and dragons 5e rules with DnD Beyond character sheet and Campaign as well as the Roll20 game system for Maps. We will use the Books Curse of Strahd Adventure and the Ravenloft supplements as well as core rules of DnD. We will try to stay within Roleplay character's voices unless we need to step out of those to understand something about the adventure or something the players are not happy working with. I will prepare a Campaign realm on Discord for just the group of PCs on Discord so they can share as little or as much as they want.

How RPGPotomus creates a safe table
During Session Zero I will send to each of my Player the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist to review and fill out and we will discuss X, N, & O's digital messages. I will go over the Roll 20 system and Discord as needed for them. The Players will be able to make up their character using Roll 20 character sheets or send me copies on discord or DnD Beyond.
