About the adventure
After humanity’s previous planet became nothing more than a lifeless husk hanging within a solar system through their own bloodied hands of hubris, they had no choice but to leave for their own survival. In bits and pieces, humanity was forced to make their way to a distant moon by the name of Elieithyia, circling a dying star referred to them as Prometheus. There, they made colonies across the verdant surface of the moon, united at first, but with repeating mistakes and issues that were never solved on the mother planet, humanity began to do as it does best-- cannibalize itself with greed being a terminal cancer. But as the colonies began to split, with wealth disparity becoming canyons rather than puddles to the warmongering demagogues in charge-- a greater issue bared its terrifying head. From the bowels of the twisting, eerie Promethium Star, it began to unfurl like a womb, giving birth to frightening monstrous creatures of substantial size and danger. These Promethium Children make their way towards humanity’s moon to carve their way within it and to lay waste to the colonies already raising arms against one another. Kaiju-like in proportion, humanity decided to create mechanical superweapons to combat them, piloted by esteemed SERAPHs. You are one of these SERAPHs, fighting alongside soldiers of your colony, Alkaid, to keep it safe from the threats across Eileithyia, as well as the Promethium Children. You are born or infused with the blood or biological essence of the Children to be able to bond with your mech, protecting humanity with your own, dwindling. But what lies within the moon that the Children hunger for so voraciously? And what fate does humanity have if it lays its own blade across its neck? That’s for you to decide and figure out, as you plug into your mech and leave your bay to the next mission among the dead space and stars.

Creating your character
For this Play-By-Post game, we are using the very simple Fate Accelerated system. But of course, with this being a text roleplay, most solutions and scenarios are sorted out entirely through text, roleplay, and player to player negotiations. Rolling is requested on occasion by the storyteller, and players may roll where they deem fit as well. Rolls will be made using the bot on the Discord Server, and determined by the storyteller.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need: Access to Discord The Foundry VTT server is hosted through Forge, and requires a free account. You will be provided with links and content once you join. You do not need to know the rules and intricacies beforehand, as they'll be taught in the Session Zero and throughout the game. You only need to think about what character you'd like to bring to life in the Promethium Star!
What Dandy brings to the table

This is a custom experience, where I will do my best to cater to you! Replies to the PbP will be make one to two times daily at at least three paragraphs of length, barring any heads up or emergencies given to the server and group. It is expected you remain active to the PbP, and give me notice when you're going to potentially have periods of extended absence.

How Dandy creates a safe table
We will go over the Session Zero, table rules and expectations at the beginning of the campaign, and at the end of every session I'll offer player feedback and request DM feedback as well. I will do my best so that we will all be on the same page, and remain comfortable and transparent. You will be required to read and fill out a consent form, covering both player and storyteller expectations. This Play-By-Post will cover dark and other various uncomfortable topics. Please, if you're interested in attending this campaign, understand that by joining this campaign, you consent in being mature with these topics, and to handle them in character and to also understand that they are being handled delicately as fictional content. Riding off of this, you must understand that the actions and beliefs of characters are not congruent to the beliefs and actions of the players who control them. We will cover Lines and Veils during the Session Zero to make sure nobody is uncomfortable. These can always be revisited as the game continues to ensure the enjoyment of everyone participating.
