About the adventure

Warning: This game gets dark. X-Cards will be in use. Welcome to the Apocalypse Born of the U.S. government’s 1928 raid on the degenerate coastal town of Innsmouth, Massachusetts, the covert agency known as Delta Green spent four decades opposing the forces of darkness with honor, but without glory. Stripped of sanction after a disastrous 1969 operation in Cambodia, Delta Green’s leaders made a secret pact: to continue their work without authority, without support, and without fear. Delta Green agents slip through the system, manipulating the federal bureaucracy while pushing the darkness back for another day—but often at a shattering personal cost. 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗲𝘀𝘁. The date is August 7th, 2009. Agents have been called to the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit, Michigan to meet with a Law Clerk by the name of Antony Clarke. The missive you received, all with different verbiage, seemed to show a nature of haste and confidentiality. In this scenario, you will be given several pre-generated agents to choose from, giving them a name and names for their friends and family (Bonds). Once that is done, the investigation begins. Delta Green is based on the Basic Roleplaying System from Chaosium with a few exceptions we will go over.

The characters will be pre-generated and chosen. The choices are: Special Agent Cornwell - An FBI agent who's expert and reading and manipulating people. Dr. Kamaroff - A brilliant FBI forensic pathologist. Kurtz - A computer scientist with dangerous interests. McMurtry - A retired special operator with extensive combat experience (probably from a force like the U.S. Army Rangers), now working as a security contractor. Dr. Palmer - An anthropology professor and amateur photographer with deep experience in the occult. Dr. Schell - An astrophysicist scarred by exposure to unnatural forces.

Safety

How Zach creates a safe table

This being an extremely psychological game, the X-Card is in effect, and, if the events become too extreme, I have no issues if you need to excuse yourself and you will be refunded. The game itself is a dive into the horrors of what things like this do to you.
