About the adventure
In a single night, Vaelmaris drowned. Kingdoms became reefs, roads became currents, and the past now lies buried beneath miles of shifting, restless water. What remains is a fractured world of drifting settlements, half-sunken cities, and isolated islands clinging to survival. Sailors chart new routes across an ever-changing sea, scavengers dive into the ruins of the old world, and whispers spread of something vast moving in the deep. This is a setting of exploration and uncertainty—where every horizon hides opportunity, danger, or something far stranger. This game is about adaptation, discovery, and the tension between holding onto what was lost and embracing what the world is becoming. You’ll navigate fragile alliances between rival factions, uncover the truth behind the flood, and decide whether the ocean is an enemy to be fought or a force to be understood. The tone leans toward grounded survival and mystery, but leaves space for wonder, strange beauty, and moments of hope amid the wreckage. Mechanically, the game emphasizes exploration, resourcefulness, and meaningful choices. Travel is unpredictable, and the environment itself is as much a challenge as any enemy. Ships and mobile bases can be upgraded over time, and venturing into deeper waters introduces new risks like pressure, darkness, and the unknown. Players may face colossus-scale threats, such as massive leviathans or living remnants of the old world that require more than simple combat to overcome. These encounters are designed as set-piece events, blending strategy, teamwork, and environmental interaction rather than straightforward fights. This campaign is ideal for players who enjoy immersive worlds, collaborative storytelling, and a sense of discovery. If you like uncovering secrets, shaping the direction of the story through your choices, and exploring a setting that reacts to you, you’ll feel at home here. Whether you’re mapping uncharted waters, diving into submerged ruins, or standing on the deck as something enormous rises from below, this is a story about what survives, and what changes, when the world itself is rewritten.

About me
Hi I'm Bosshuntress (Boss for short) and I am a DM of 3 years. I have been playing mainly DND 5e and 5.5e but recently switched over to Daggerheart and have been loving it. I'm here to bring my experience to the masses and have some fun with people while I do so. (Also I am someone who does not use AI in my workflow)

Creating your character
Character creation will take place in a free session 0 before the campaign starts. Everyone will be starting at level 1 and characters will either be created on Demiplane or on pdfs that I shall provide (in cases where homebrew wants to be used). All content will be available from the core rule book to the void (playtest material) to the eventual follow-up books that release for the game such as hope and fear.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please make an account on both Demiplane and Discord. We will be using Owlbear Rodeo as our VTT which is free and does not need an account to play with.
What Bosshuntress brings to the table
I provide a fun atmosphere where anyone can be themselves or anyone else that they would like to be! I will do vague voices but nothing to the level of professional DMs like Mercer or others. I have combat which is interesting but not overwhelming and I embrace the Rule of Cool to keep everything flowing in a heroic style.
Homebrew rules
I use the massive damage rule and also allow specific homebrew content in character creation as long as it is approved by me first.

How Bosshuntress creates a safe table
When you join the one-shot I will send a link to my Lines and Veils document. Session 0 will cover content warnings alongside rough expectations of play and character creation. X,N and O's will be messaged or said verbally. Players will be free to come and go as they wish as long as they let me know that they are doing so.
