About me
Hi there! I'm Matt, and Ive been a tabletop fan and ForeverDM for over 10 years. I've played a wide variety of games, but mainly have experience with D&D 3.5 and 5th, Vampire The Masquerade 20th, and Daggerheart. Im always open to try something new, and I love to create interesting games and stories with others. Im influenced by a lot of Manga and Videogames and I love having a cinematic feel to my games. I believe in strong collaboration between everyone at the table, with my aim being that everyone feels comfortable, safe, and has a great time.

Creating your character
Players have the option of picking from a list of pre-generated characters, or making their own on the Demiplane app! All Pre-gen characters come with their own backstory, but can be changed if you would like to come up with something different. The Demiplane app for Daggerheart easily guides you through the process of picking Stats, Equipment, Experiences, and Spells. I am also more than happy to walk you through the character creation process and explain things along the way. All Player Characters start at Level 1. With Demiplane, you can also keep your character saved and use it to continue your adventures in the world of Aatema, or any other Daggerheart game!

What Matt brings to the table
Players can expect a number of exciting things from my DM Style: 1. Memorable NPCs and Great RP With my background in acting, I bring to life a wide range of different characters, all with their own voices, desires, and motivations. Whether its a cold and dangerous enemy or a bizarre mushroom wizard, every character, improvised or written, is made with passion 2. Collaborative Worldbuilding The world of Aatema is vast and home to a large array of different cultures and environments. Have you ever had an interesting idea for a setting or story? One that you want to immerse yourself and others into? This is where that can happen. 3. Play characters Your Way I go to great lengths to make sure my players are completely satisfied with their characters and are able to flavour them how they wish. Character creation seems daunting, but it doesn't have to be. I'm dedicated to making your character unique to you and am more than happy to go through meticulous detail to make sure you are happy. 4.Cinematic Combat Over the years I have consistently worked on bridging the gap between Narrative Play and Combat Rules, blending the two together to help create cinematic fights between PC's and adversaries. I believe that the rules should always enhance the story, not detract from it.

How Matt creates a safe table
During session 0, I will go over the themes that will be present during the story, letting players know what kind of possibly distressing material may be encountered. My games always have an Open Door policy, and my private DM's are always open if players wish to discuss their potential triggers. During game I also utilise the X,N and O system using both Roll20's chat function, discord voice call, as well as the X,N, O card deck addon included in Roll 20.
