About the adventure
Welcome to Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden. A survival-horror D&D campaign where every shadow hides danger and warmth is more valuable than gold. The sun has vanished, locked away by the cruel will of the Frostmaiden. Ten struggling towns cling to survival in endless winter, where food is scarce, warmth is fleeting, and fear grows with every passing night. 🎭 WHAT TO EXPECT • A gritty, atmospheric campaign where horror meets exploration • Moral dilemmas: save the town, or save yourselves? • Unpredictable danger: from ancient ruins to things beneath the ice 🧠 PERFECT FOR PLAYERS WHO LOVE: • Dark fantasy and survival tension • Roleplay and character secrets • Exploration with real consequences This is a play-by-post game, keeping a solid pace is important. I will usually post at least once a day, often more when the game calls for it. I’m hoping to find players who can maintain a similar rhythm, ideally posting every weekday or at least once every two days.

About me
Well met! I’ve been GM-ing since 2019, running everything from one-shots to a three-year bi-weekly campaign. My style of storytelling tends to be gritty, character-driven fantasy with enough humor to bring out occasional laughs from folks. I draw inspiration from writers like Joe Abercrombie, George R. R. Martin & Robin Hobb. I'm also influenced by video games: The Witcher, Shadow of Colossus, etc. At my table, player freedom is at the core. I enjoy when players test the limits of my imagination and push the story in an unforeseen situation. I tend to return that favor, putting players in a situation where they have to improvise on the fly, which can be a daunting task. Yet individuals who enjoy that type of challenge tend to have a great time in my games. My goal is always to create a vivid theatre-of-the-mind experience where players can unleash their creativity and leave with unforgettable stories. I favour Theater-of-the-Mind style GM-ing because we want to mimic a real life table experience as closely as possible.
