About the adventure

[ *** A High-level (D&D Tier 3 & 4) Campaign for those that dream to pass beyond the level 10-11 limit of most official modules, yet want something more elaborated than senseless plane travel *** ] The year is 1492 DR. After a year of hardship from the Cult of the Dragon’s attempt to summon Tiamat, the people of the Sword Coast finally seemed blessed with a season of peace. The grand and boisterous Midsummer celebrations sponsored by the Church of Tymora are about to begin the town of Daggerford! Meanwhile, a mystery unfolds as the celebrations are overshadowed by a chilling event: a renowned figure of the region has vanished without a trace— Linmegil, Bard, Owner of the Dancing Sword Tavern, but most importantly, Leader of the Silvermoon Circle, the public and political face of the Harpers. The Lord’s Alliance has offered a reward of 500 gold pieces for any relevant information regarding his disappearance, and a bounty of 5,000 gold pieces if the culprit is identified and captured. Join this mystery thriller, filled with twists and fast-paced challenges that push heroes to their limits as they solve puzzles, confront emerging threats, and uncover their unexpected connection to the disappearance of the famous Bard Linmegil!

About me

!!! What my players say !!! "As someone who has played at a lot of tables, I truly can't praise Leo enough. He was very open to ideas for character creation and helped bring my vision to life. When it comes to combat, he has the perfect balance of being generous but not pulling any punches that hits the sweet spot of difficulty. Leo's experience means that combat flows smoothly, and his virtual tabletop setup is the coolest I've ever seen. I can also tell he is just as invested in our characters and story as we are, and his love of d&d is so infectious that I always look forward to my next game. Top tier DM." If I were a Character, I'd say.... Race: Human, Latin American (but I'd rather be an Elf). Background: University professor. Class: Game Master. Sub-class: Dungeon Master (D&D since 1st ed... Currently 5e). I like to DM as much I like to play. And I like creating homebrew rules and worlds as much as I like knowing Rules-as-written (RAW) and official adventures. So I'd say I'm Neutral Good. I go by the rules, but my Good alignment urges me to use Rule-of-Cool if that improves gameplay and player engagement. As a DM, I will work to embed players in the storyline, weaving their backgrounds into the main campaign even in official adventures (after all, they all need adjustments anyway). I'm looking to collectively build amazing stories and experiences while rolling dice. We must remember that dice bring the unexpected into our game and help creating unforgettable moments! Let's roll some dice!

Character creation

Creating your character

🎲 Characters start at Level 11, roll stats (on Discord) or take point buy if you dislike the rolls. Equipment includes Starting (Background + Class) + 3,000 gp + 2 uncommon magic items, one of which will grow in power as the Character progresses. 📜 Character creation is on DNDBeyond where you have permanent free access to all approved content. [If you have never used this platform, we will create the character together in Session Zero] ⭐ The Campaign will span from Level 11 to 20 - Yes you will play a Level 20 Character ! A High-level table for those that dream to pass beyond the level 10-11 limit of most official modules, yet want something more elaborated than senseless plane travel. 💡 You can bring any character concept you want, and I will help you tie them to the storyline.... but consider crafting a character that: (1) already has some achievements under their belt, and (2) wants to uncover mysteries at all costs...

The current party

Session 1 planned for **15th of May** as long as we get the 5th Player! Currently we have: Bard, Druid, Monk, and Sorcerer Join and schedule an individual Session Zero before the 15th to experience this adventure from Day 1 !!!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

🎧 You will need a mic and accounts created on Discord and DNDBeyond (both free!). Links will be provided once you register. Foundry is accessed via my website, so no account needed. 🎲 Characters can be created in DNDBeyond as soon as you get the link, but we will jointly finalized it during Session Zero. 🧙 You are not expected to be a PRO, but you should already have played before, ideally Tier 1 and 2, to keep up with the challenge of starting straight into Level 11 - a relevant power spike!

💡 A Player Character can stack up to 3 Inspiration Points [granted by the DM and the other Players every session] 🔥 Deadly critical: base dice is maximized, and extra dice rolled. ⚔️ Flanking provides a -2 to AC, and Surrounding (4 Enemies) grants advantage to all attack rolls against the Surrounded creature. ☠︎ Dropping to zero HP grants 1 level of exhaustion. 🎲 Tactical Bonus Action: Characters can use their Bonus action to make a mental skill check at disadvantage (Perception, Investigation, Insight, etc)
