About the adventure
In Motor City Malady, Detroit is a landscape of exquisite decay—a sprawling urban graveyard where the laws of reality are beginning to seize like an engine without oil. The city has become a premier global hub for Prometheans, drawn by the massive God-Machine Infrastructure buried within the salt mines. The city’s power structure is a powder keg of competing supernatural agendas. The Consilium of the Iron Gauntlet attempts to maintain a fragile order, desperately trying to "cauterize" the infected Ley Lines before the Abyss swallows the 313. They are frequently at odds with the Sapa Inca, a brutal vampire cartel that views the Lead Rot as a tactical advantage, weaponizing the plague-touched "Dark Zones" to expand their territory. Meanwhile, Sin-Eaters and Changelings navigate the "spectral rails" of the Michigan Central Station, using it as a neutral ground to ferry refugees away from the Gentry and the Reapers who thrive in the city's entropic atmosphere. In the city's spirit-blown outskirts, Werewolves fight a losing battle against an Industrial Shadow that has turned toxic. To the Uratha, the Lead Rot is a spiritual gangrene born from the "thickenining" of the Iron Gauntlet, where spirits of progress have warped into entities of Obsolescence and Malice. While the Pure Tribes hoard the remaining functional factories as holy sites, the Forsaken cling to the "territory of ghosts," patrolling the borderlands where the city’s concrete skin is peeling back to reveal a jagged, mechanical underworld that no longer recognizes the Moon’s laws. Beneath the surface, the God-Machine is performing a "Hard Reset" on the region. As the Lead Rot spreads, Demons and Beasts find themselves trapped in a glitching reality where the environment itself is hostile. A Beast’s Lair might physically merge with a failing power grid, while a Demon’s Bolthole might manifest "static" that leaks into the physical world. This environmental instability has forced a desperate alliance known as The Sworn—a vanguard of mixed supernatural types dedicated to stabilizing the city’s heart before the countdown in the Digital Ghost signal reaches zero. In this sandbox, your character will navigate a city where industrial ghosts haunt the assembly lines and the Hedge is reinforced with jagged rebar. Detroit is no longer just a place to hide; it is a living, dying machine, and your characters are the ones who will choose to fix the gears or let the motor stall forever.

About me
🎲 “Hold on, let me roll Persuasion first… success!” Hello, I’m Tyler — a storyteller, designer, and lifelong gamer with decades of experience behind the screen. My players describe me as Immersive, Supportive, and Masterful. I’ve guided hundreds of players through unforgettable games at conventions, on streams and podcasts, and in home campaigns across North and South America. I’ve collaborated with publishers like Onyx Path, Free League, Chaosium, and Helmgast, and I’m also a published writer and designer with credits in both indie and professional TTRPG projects. Whether it’s your first session or your hundredth, my goal is always the same: create a safe, inclusive space where your story matters.
