About the adventure
From all accounts, the city of Kingston, Ontario, Canada projects the image of a growing small city, anchored by a prestigious university, a military base, and thriving tourist and startup industries. However, you know better. Under the pretty veneer of success lies an ugly, broken foundation. Infighting amongst the different populations within the city causes fractures along cultural, economic, and geographic lines. Legitimately, the city is like a duck. Calm on the surface, flailing underneath. As a Kindred in the city, you know that this is a recipe for disaster. The Prince, who has held court in the city since the mid-90s following the major institutional exodus, is now facing a problem very similar to her predecessor's: major changes threaten to lower the population once again. Lower population means fewer vessels to feed from. Navigate the two mirrored societies of mortals and Kindred as you attempt to address these issues and preserve the domain's feeding sources. In this chronicle, you will: - Move within mortal and Kindred society, all while maintaining the Masquerade. - Discover important infrastructure and institutional fractures and work on ways to repair them. - Solve mysteries surrounding the causes of the instability in the city. - Face important decisions regarding the administration of Kindred society. If you like solving problems, building alliances, investigating mysteries, and navigating intricate political structures, this chronicle is for you.

About me
Adam (Legend Weaver) has been playing Dungeons and Dragons since elementary school. Since then, he's played several different role-playing games, both in-person and online. He spent several years running a Vampire LARP in his city and has hundreds of hours of storytelling and game-running experience. Critical Role brought him back to the world of Dungeons and Dragons, and he enjoys being both behind the screen and in the trenches with other players. As an actor and singer, Adam enjoys telling stories, and this just adds to the list of stories he can help tell. He uses his theatre training to add creative NPCs and descriptions to enhance the player experience as much as possible. We now have a Discord Community server! I will provide access to the source materials for Vampire: The Masquerade, a Discord server to organize and play the game, and private channels within the Discord for working on character points. I provide some ambient music and basic vocal changes to illustrate different characters when speaking. I will provide and maintain a relationship map. I embrace a mixture of Rule of Cool and Rules as Written, allowing different approaches to things that make sense.

How GM Adam, dba Legend Weaver creates a safe table
Session 0 will include filling out the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist, and a master version of the checklist with the overall limits listed based on the responses will be posted on the Discord for reference. I provide a break roughly at the midpoint of sessions to allow for the players to process potential heavy plotlines. I also always have an open-door policy.
