About the adventure
This is an adventure built in The Age of Umbra campaign frame. This is a beginner-friendly adventure (learn to play as we go), but open to all experience levels! LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC always celebrated at my table. --- The Age of Umbra is a grim fantasy setting where mortal-kind survives in a post-apocalyptic, gods-forsaken world. A growing storm of lost souls called the Umbra roams the world and corrupts anything that is caught in it. Living things are cursed and twisted by the spirits, becoming abominations and horrors that are doomed to stalk the wildlands outside the walls of the living. But, all is not hopeless. People still find ways to better their life and their community even during these dark times. As mortal-kind continue to rebuild their numbers, leaders are often looking for locations to create new settlements to expand and grow. All the while, theologians, scientists, and explorers search ruins of the old world for scraps of history, or artifacts that might shed light on the new world. --- Explore a world where danger and undeath stalk you at every step. Find hope and community among the survivors scattered across the land. Delve into ruins and dungeons to seek the truth about what exactly happened before the apocalypse. Race to gather artifacts that might reverse the effects of the Umbra!

About me
Hello, fellow travelers! My name is Tiger and I've been into gaming and storytelling all of my life. I'm old enough to say that my first computer was a Compaq and my first video game console was an Atari 2600. If either of those names mean nothing to you, then I'm ancient and I'm looking for my walker because I forgot where I put it. I've been playing TTRPGs since red box, mostly in the various editions of D&D, but also several PbtA, L5R, and some indies. I've been GM-ing for several years now. This format of storytelling suits me well, and I really enjoy spending time with other folks of my tribe and community! I am a queer polyamorous gay man (he/him) with a husband and family. I make it a point to create a safe space for storytellers, no matter their backstory to express themselves authentically, with joy, passion, and creativity.

Creating your character
This campaign will begin at level 1. Character ideas are best discussed as a group during Session Zero to form a diverse and cohesive group of characters. We create Daggerheart characters on Demiplane (https://app.demiplane.com/home). The Void (beta material) is available to play including transformations, but will require GM approval. Let the GM know if you need access to the full content on Demiplane. Character sheets must be submitted to the GM at least 24 hours prior to gametime.

What Tiger @Nine Tiger Tales brings to the table
I provide a rich, evocative setting in which your character will explore. My immersive narrative and relatable, engaging NPCs provide a vibrant backdrop to the stories you want to tell. I use Roll20 as a virtual table top (VTT). This will provide you with high quality visuals, maps, ambient sounds and music to bring interactive and immersive scenarios to life. Once you are in the Demiplane group, I will share my content with you so that you have access to all the unlocked content as well as the Void (beta) material. I use Discord for our chat and communications. My server has public and private channels for your party to plan their adventure or discuss tactics. Pre-generated characters will be available if you need/want them.
Homebrew rules
Any variations of the rules are listed in the Rules of Engagement or in the team's private channel (if specific to this game only) on the Nine Tiger Tales Discord server. I list them in the CATS provided to you in the private channels for your party.
