About the adventure
Hi if you love folk horror and, a fun-loving table that doesn't take themselves too seriously. We'll be fallowing a Lv3- Lv15 campaign set in the wacky lands between life in death the 13 domains of Duskenvald. Looking for players of all experience levels Bound by fate each of our heroes' climbs abound the Ghostlight Express the magical train that bares souls to the other side of the vail of Duskenvald. Each finding a ticket to board in their pocket to climb abord sharing a fate they do not yet realize.

About me
Hi, My Name, is Franklin West I'm 27 and I've been playing TTRPG's for close to 15 years on and off now and, DM/GM'd for 5 of those years and I've come to deeply enjoy it. Even as a young kid I loved consuming Sci-fi and, Fantasy as much as possible so when I was introduced to D&D as teenager it really left its impression on me. Now over the last 5 years have come to DM/GM for newer players to the Hobbie of TTRPG's rather than being a player. While it's lot more work to tell a story as a GM/DM I've come to enjoy it more with each year of experience! The fun of unwrapping a new world with my players to see all the little details that make a TTRPG a unique experience is what I wish to continue here within this community to reach more new players looking to explore D&D or, other systems of play.

Creating your character
So, for my player character creation I let my players use the point buy system to allow them to distribute between stats as they see fit (I will of course overview them once finished!) we will be starting at Lv3 for the start of the campaign. I Preferer my players build their characters on Alchemy the VTT I hold are games on. I will add the species and subclass list that comes with the setting below, but I will not bar a player for using a different species or subclass from an outside setting.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I will ask all players to make a free Alchemy account so were all playing on the same platform. I also ask all of my players to join are discord channel it'll be our main way of commination between games as well as providing a community environment for are players!
What Franklin West brings to the table
So most of my players will tell you I love providing a: -colored map -using NPC voices -a dope soundtrack -a handout for players to keep in their pocket to refer to later I do style myself as a rule of cool DM but some rules especially if they lend to difficulty in my own opinion should stay as written. But if something is bogging down my players frequently from having fun as long as we agree as group, I have no problem removing a rule. (After all were all here to have a fun time)
Homebrew rules
We will go over this at session 0 but I will not be running any variant rules we don't vote on as a group. if your a more experienced player and wish to bring an optional homebrew rule please tell me before session 0.
