About the adventure
A western based in Northern Texas in 1889, a team of adventurers come upon a newly established Amarillo, where they meet 3 distinct factions. The Law (Amarillo Sheriff Department), The Outlaws (The Golden Gang), & The Savages (The Cherokee Nation). These trusty gunslingers will need to ally with one or two of these factions to help negotiate peace or destroy the opposition. The setting also deals with the rapid expansion of the Union, mass immigration of Europeans seeking self-made fortunes, and the Indian Wars, as the US openly attacked, and encouraged Americans to attack, Native American settlements & interests.

About me
I am a longtime TTRPG GM that loves Pathfinder & GURPS, with a large library of books, art assets, and time to share with my players, it is my favorite thing to do. I am a huge fan of roleplay and often modify mechanics to benefit storytelling & session fluidity. I use Foundry VTT, which is free to my players, and includes vast customization options for every campaign & every participant. Please take a look at this Google Sheet for all of my GURPS games: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OIi-Yp_5L2k4LvJ_L-YxgZ_YF7QIsZr4h0PIoit8fKM/edit?usp=sharing
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation will happen between the respective player and the GM. Once both parties agree on a character, that character will be introduced to all the other characters in a Session 0. Character Creation will remain active until Session 3, meaning players can fiddle with their character for a bit to make sure it is a right fit. This is to ensure everyone is having fun with their characters, and no one feels like they wasted points on a feature.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Bring a solid character idea, and maybe character art, with a token. You'll need to have Discord to communicate. Reading GURPS 4e Basic Set is all that I ask, additional books & rules will become available as needed. The players should also make sure they have GCS (see above).
What John brings to the table
Foundry VTT, which is free to players, a library of GURPS 4e books that will be available to players, and custom art assets & maps, some powered by AI. The players will be expected to roleplay heavily throughout the session, and can expect regular combat of all kinds.

How John creates a safe table
The GM and players will have a Session 0 where they discuss content they don't want to see, and how to go forward so everyone is happy. Players can also discuss breaks, as needed, for longer sessions.
