About the adventure
Be it known that the bearer of this charter has been charged by the swordlords of Restov, acting upon the greater good and authority vested within them by the office of the Lord-Mayor of Restov, the right of exploration and travel within the wilderness regions known as Restov's Hinterlands and the Greenbelt. Exploration should be limited to an area west and south of Oleg's Trading Post, no further than the banks of the Shrike and Skunk Rivers. The carrier of this charter should strive against banditry and other unlawful behavior to be encountered. The punishment for unrepentant banditry remains, as always, execution by sword or rope. So witnessed this 24th day of Calistril, under the watchful eye of the Lordship of Restov. ~~~~~~ The Kingmaker Adventure Path presents a full-length campaign that chronicles the rise of a new nationâa kingdom built and ruled by your player characters! Face off against bands of bloodthirsty bandits, deadly and dangerous monsters, and mysterious menaces from other realities as you fight to claim the Stolen Lands as your own. Will you rule with justice and mercy, or will you become the very monsters you fought to oppose? In the Kingmaker Adventure Path, the destiny of the worldâs newest nation is yours to decide! ~~~~~ For generations, the Stolen Lands have spanned the southern border of Brevoy. Many attempts have been made to settle them, but to date, none have succeeded, making these 35,000 square miles of wilderness the largest swath of unclaimed land in the entire River Kingdoms. As tensions mount in Brevoy, one of Rostlandâs swordlords hopes to change that fact; she plans to issue charters to several groups of adventurers, sending them south into the Stolen Lands to reopen old trade routes and defeat the bandits and monsters who have made them too dangerous to use. By sending free agents south, this swordlord of Rostland hopes to create new allies without sacrificing her own position of power in Brevoy. Your party has been granted a charter to explore these wilds, defeat its dangers, and build a brand new nation. Yet not everyone will welcome you as new neighbors, and powerful supernatural forces have their own plans for the region. Can you defeat your kingdomâs enemies and become leaders of one of the greatest new nations in the world?

Meet the Game Master
About me
We have all had that moment where we encountered something that sparked our interest in TTRPGs: catching a glimpse of a fantasy cover art, connecting with a heroic character arc in a film, getting caught up in the grand story of a video game â something that inspired us to say âI could do something like that!â For me, that moment came one afternoon ten years ago when, after numerous failed starts, I resolved that if no else was willing to take the DMâs chair, Iâd just have to it myself. My whole life had led me to that moment and I havenât looked back since. My name is J. Lawrence Kenny and in addition to a half decade of Dungeon Mastering, I hold a BFA in Theatre Performance and bring three decades of acting and storytelling experience to my table. Nothing brings me greater joy then when my party cheers, or gasps in horror, or let loose a string of expletives (or any combo of all three!) over a story moment I have spent hours devising just for them. Your characters will be personally tied into whatever is happening - their stories, their goals, will fuel and shape the events of the campaign. And, with a little luck, you will experience a complete character arc with a dramatic and satisfying conclusionâŚor at least be left with an interesting hook to carry onto the next adventure! At my table you will interact with memorable NPCs, explore unique and expansive worlds, and take center stage in compelling stories that will leave plenty of room for individuality and lateral thinking. Your character will always be the driving force; the underdog overcoming antagonists far beyond their limits, the everyman catapulted onto the stage of grand events, the hero who saves the world. The stories we create together will be far more interesting and fun than the stories we could create alone.

Creating your character
Level 1 start, character creation done on Session Zero. All official options allowed, playtest encouraged, flavor is free, and homebrew upon review. The Kingmaker Player's Guide is free on the Paizo website and is a great resource to help create a character that will shine in this adventure path, even when converting to Daggerheart.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Microphone with decent quality is a must, and webcams are encouraged, but not necessary. All other game content will be used through Foundry. Beginners are welcome, and I always look to help new players, though there comes a time when the training wheels must come off, and you remember your own character's abilities and items.
