About the adventure
The journey begins in the bustling city of Neverwinter, where a dwarf hires you to escort a supply wagon to the frontier town of Phandalin. What starts as a simple guard job quickly spirals into a desperate rescue mission and a hunt for a legendary lost mine filled with ancient magic. As you settle into Phandalin, you'll discover that the town isn't just a place to rest—it's a home worth fighting for. But a shadow is growing. While you deal with local bandits and goblin raids, a much more terrifying threat lurks beneath the surface.

About me
Hello, I am 58 years old. I started DMing back in the 80's. I’ve DMed 1st edition, and 5th edition. When Covid happened, I started playing on Foundry Vtt. I am very passionate about D&D and love Dming. Seeing players enjoy themselves brings me joy and I hope I can continue doing it for many years to come. I DO NOT TOLERATE OBNOXIOUS, DISRUPTIVE, or NEGATIVE BEHAVIOR IN THE GAME OR TOWARDS ANY OTHER PLAYER. I WILL ASK THESE TYPES OF PLAYERS TO LEAVE THE GAME. MY JOB IS TO PROVIDE ENTERTAINMENT FOR EVERYONE. I strive to cultivate a group that supports everyone’s unique approach to playing D&D. I am easy going, but please respect everyone in the game. Creating your character
During first session characters are finished being created and finalized using D&D Beyond. Starting at level 1 using point buy system or standard array. Hit Points past level one are added with fixed amount based on class. All reference books will be provided by me using D&D Beyond. If you are interested in something I don’t have, we can discuss it and I can see if I can get it if it isn’t game breaking as determined by the DM.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Accounts needed are Discord, Foundry Vtt, D&D Beyond. Chrome browser is recommended to run on computer for better performance.

Game will be played using RAW and ROC using Dungeons and Dragons 2024 5e Rules.

How DM Kelly creates a safe table
First session will be a free session 0 for character building and development. It will also be a chance to demonstrate game play and familiarize players with the game system allowing time for questions and fixing possible technical issues. Introductions to my game style and expectations will be discussed along with understanding of each players thoughts and their expectations. Safety Tools will be discussed for players methods of improving their game experience.
