About the adventure

This game is for newer players of DND. They payers are lenient, and patient, and love playing with new players. More experienced players are accepted as well to play as well. Drop into the massive world, meet new people, make your own personal journey, and stop the rising evil across the land! You awaken within a void that goes on forever. A voice calls out to you, and asks if you are ready to fulfil your purpose in stopping the almighty Malgorath. You answer the call and are dropped in the large world of Guild Life! Join a guild of other "Summoned" allies. Make your own story, whether you venture to help the little guy, or take on world ending threats. The choices you make will ripple to even the smallest corners of this wide world. This is a West-Marches Campaign. That means that your party members are always rotating, and that other people are effecting the world. Set out with a group you like, or become a rotating member for parties that need you. The world is in your hands, and everyone is waiting for you to show them what you can do!

About me

I have enjoyed playing DnD for the past 3 years or so and have played in 5 campaigns, three of which I DM'd. I am well acquainted with 5e 2014 rules and have also played in homebrew. My favorite classes are Cleric and Fighter. In my homebrew, I made a Persona DnD and a Monster Hunter DnD campaign. My current project is a West-Marches traditional 5e game set in a homebrew world!

Character creation

Creating your character

Creating a character will happen before the sessions start. We will talk one on one, and the starting level is 3-4. The characters will be made in roll 20. All races and classes MUST be within: Mordenkainen Monsters of the multiverse, Tasha's cauldron, Xanathar's, and the Players handbook. If looking outside of that, it is open for discussion. Stats are point buy. As for background, the character won't have one, instead they will just pick from a list of backgrounds, and obtain the skills from them.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You need to make a Discord account, and a Roll20 account. Then you will receive an invite to a server within Discord. The rest will be discussed there.

What Bean Sama brings to the table

I utilize music in all area's of the game. I try to follow things rules as written, but i am ALWAYS open for discussion about rules, especially for roleplay. Combat will usually run long, and be difficult. I like for my players to get a good mastery of managing resources and enemies.

Homebrew rules

Drinking potions are a bonus action. Nat 1's instantly end your turn. Some homebrew enemies, classes, or items.

Safety

How Bean Sama creates a safe table

I like to always ask what players expect before and after a session. Once a session is done, I usually try to get a run-through of what we did, and what was enjoyed/disliked about that session. I am always open to criticisms/suggestions, because if you aren't having fun, no one is.
