About the adventure
STAR WARS: DAWN OF DEFIANCE A Star Wars Saga Edition Campaign The galaxy has fallen silent under the iron rule of the Galactic Empire. The Jedi are gone, the Senate is crumbling, and fear spreads across the stars as Imperial fleets tighten their grip on every world. Most believe the age of heroes is over. But they are wrong. Dawn of Defiance is a sweeping Star Wars campaign set in the dark years between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope—a time when rebellion is still only a whisper. Players take the roles of smugglers, soldiers, Force-sensitives in hiding, bounty hunters, spies, and rogues who find themselves drawn into a growing resistance against Imperial tyranny. What begins as small missions—rescuing prisoners, sabotaging Imperial operations, uncovering secret research—soon reveals something far more dangerous. The Empire is searching for powerful relics and hidden knowledge connected to the Force, artifacts capable of tipping the balance of power across the galaxy. If the Empire finds them first, any hope of freedom could be extinguished forever. The players become the agents of defiance. Across the campaign you will travel to iconic and dangerous worlds—ancient temples, forgotten battlefields, crime-ridden spaceports, hidden Rebel cells, and Imperial strongholds. You’ll clash with stormtroopers, Imperial Inquisitors, bounty hunters, and Sith agents while uncovering secrets long buried by history. Along the way you will pilot starships, fight desperate battles, forge alliances, and ignite sparks of rebellion in places where hope has nearly died. This is a heroic, cinematic Star Wars story where your characters rise from unknown adventurers to legendary figures in the early Rebellion. Every decision matters. Every victory inspires others to resist. Every mission pushes the galaxy closer to open rebellion. The Empire rules through fear. You are the ones brave enough to defy it. Welcome to Dawn of Defiance. May the Force be with you.

About me
I've been role-playing and gaming for most of my life. I've played many games both in IRL and online in Roll20. I was a beta tester for D&D 4th and 5th ed (been loving it since then). I have played other role-playing games like Warhammer 40k (Deathwatch, Only War, Dark Heresy), Palladium (Robotech), Dungeon World, OVA, Anima: Beyond, Shadowrun 4th & 5th, Star Wars: Saga Ed and many more. I currently DM mostly on roll20, but l come here to look for new players and new friends. I'm more of an RP player and hack & slasher. Whatever game time is set, I always make it on time or make sure a day ahead to tell everyone were rescheduling which rarely happens during a game week. I ensure it works for me so I can make it to every game. I'm always willing to help and work with people who need help if they want it. I'm also a happy-go-lucky guy who tries to make sure everyone is having a fun time and getting experience with games like no other. So that's me in a nutshell im character in Real life and online, so I hope to hear from someone. If not, thank you for reading this post. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Creating your character
How character creation will work will be as the following: Players will roll in game on roll20 a macro That will determine their accessibility to the Force Sensitivity Feat and whether or not you'll be able to play a Species that has it already or can pick up the feat as part of your first level. A player can decline from taking the feat but once they do, they cannot take it during any level up afterwords unless there has been an in-game reason. The player will take the community stats array. Which will be determined during the zero session. From the party voting on a player's roll or GM's roll. You may use any Species in the Saga Edition Core Rulebook, with the exceptions of Ewoks, Hutts, and Yuuzhan Vong, which are not available for play. Devaronians are also allowed, however other Species (particularly those presented in the Clone Wars Campaign Guide and the Force Unleashed Campaign Guide) may be allowed with approval from your Gamemaster. Playing a Droid Hero is allowed. Droid characters can be a custom Droid Model (see Playing a Custom Droid) or may utilize a Droid Chassis all, but 5th-Degree Droid is allowed. You cannot play a standard Droid Model. Droids will have access to the community stats array. Humans receive a +1 to any two attributes of their choice at level 1. Jedi and Soldier classes now can train 4+Int Modifiers for skills trained now. Starting at level 3, max hp and rolling for starting money time three times. Source Materials for character creation are the following Saga Edition Core Rulebook, Starships of the Galaxy, Force Unleashed Campaign Guide, Scum and Villainy, Clone Wars Campaign Guide, Rebellion Era Campaign Guide, Galaxy at War, Scavenger's Guide to Droids, Galaxy of Intrigue, and The Unknown Regions. All other Reference sources must be approved by the dm.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should be prepared with discord and roll20 accounts. Have a good quality mic. Have clearly read and understand basic rules and materials of the game system. Have two possible characters in mind one as the main character and second as their backup character.

How Walter creates a safe table
For our zero session we will go over how our character creation is done. What expectation and certain home rules be for the group. What classes and abilities are available most notably the many changes to certain class and started feats, skills, and abilities for certain classes like the Jedi class. With the force sensitivity feat being swapped out for force training feat instead. Due to the fact that all players outside of playing droids must roll for force sensitivity feat when joining to gain the feat. This representing you as being that one in 12,000 that is gifted. This will also restrict certain species from being playable due to the fact that that they have access to the feat. Combat will not be fair. Most encounters will take any and every advantage they can get. Some encounters will have theme abilities, items, and actions that will challenge the players tactical. Roleplay Amount - High - Will have a balance between seriousness and comedic atmosphere at times. I 100 percent believe that once a player has joined and created a character that they are already role playing their character and as long as the player is working with the team to better or create an atmosphere with the players rather than cause problems then the role play is there already. Puzzles - Medium - There will be some riddles and logic puzzles at some sessions, but not all. Theme - Space opera, survival, war, high action, intrigue, and space magic.
