About the adventure

"We've been so worried about those damned elves that we neglected other threats. One with a promise eras old to bathe Tamriel in dragonfire." - Halfdan Twice-Killed Five years ago the Thalmor won: claiming the spot of potentate after the Emperor's assassination and swiftly occupying the resisting lands. Talos worship was forbidden and the people had to watch as he was slowly stricken from the record. Every country still held the right to rule, with an Aldmeri advisor present of course. In the last few months something has been off. Some of the Thalmor have been making strange moves and it doesn't seem they're on the same page as expected. And captured by one of their strongholds, you have a front row seat when the tides change and an old threat emerges.

About me

Hi, my name is Bryan, I’m 25 and I’ve been a game master for over six years and started running professionally for almost five. Ever since I was kid, I loved to write and create games, and discovering TTRPGs has given me the opportunity to do both and more in a collaborative space! The ability to make stories and experience those exciting moments with other amazing players is one of the main reasons I chose this as my job, and my games reflect that. My games are usually designed with group collaboration in mind, giving room for the players to participate in worldbuilding and deciding what kind of story they want to tell. The game could be anywhere from a modern gothic game filled with drama and intrigue to an epic adventure of a group of demigods with high stakes and dynamic combats. The primary game systems I use for this are Dungeons and Dragons and World of Darkness. With my knowledge as a therapeutic game master, I work hard to ensure that my table is a space for everyone with various safety tools in place to navigate any complex or uncomfortable situations during play.

Creating your character

Characters will roll for stats during session zero and will have access to Delvebound: the unofficial Elder Scrolls conversion with Tamriellic Classes and Races!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players should have a microphone and accounts for discord and roll 20. If they wish they can use DnDBeyond for their sheets with the Beyond20 extension.

What Bryan brings to the table

Through roll20 players can expect ambient music alongside interactive maps and handouts to help keep track of information in the game. Expect a variety of dynamic combats that may not only put your tactical skills to the test, but allow you to show off epic moments fitting for a savior of Tamriel.

Homebrew rules

Drinking a potion as a bonus action, Exhaustion levels 1-10 (each level being -1 to d20 rolls), and Delvebound's magicka points instead of spell slots.
