About the adventure
A murder most foul, and an icon of hope falls. Will you have the investigative prowess to unravel this mystery? Or will these daggers in the dark claim more lives? This is going to be a socially rich investigative chronicle of intrigue. Though it will not be without combat, the primary thrust of the fiction revolves around our heroes using their wit, instinct, and deductive reasoning to put a stop to whatever sinister scheme is brewing. Sometimes, a bribe or a threat of bad reputation can be quicker to find answers than a blade. There will be a lot of roleplay and exploration within predominantly urban environments and sprinkles of combat between for high stakes clashes and conflicts. This chronicle is designed to be a short-medium sized length with the opportunity to expand further should the heroes wish to continue on.

About me
Hello! I’m glad you’re here. I’m Morgan – a professional DM, passionate gamer, and lover of all things that positively nurture the human experience based in the Pacific Northwest. With over 15 years of dnd experience, I’ve helped players from all walks of life learn to express themselves through stories while having fun and building connections. My background in acting, creative writing, public speaking, and human development is evidenced by the imaginative, creative co-operative game I build with you. Message me and let's get started! The collaborative elements of telling a nuanced, creative, and personal story together with others has been the drive and focus of my games ever since I started DMing. My games have heavy focus on narrative expression, inter-personal relationships, and personalized player experience as opposed to the shoe-horn style of making players fit into specific boxes to fit the campaign. Why not build a campaign around the players than have players build around the campaign? Though there is a level of nostalgia with pre-made modules, my love for the game really shines in world building and homebrew. I've been homebrewing my game worlds since I began DMing. It is truly where I, and my players, flourish.

What Morrganical brings to the table
From me, I will be providing 18 years of TTRPG experience, a degree in theater arts, maps, music, voice changers, narrative rule of cool, and a primary focus on roleplay. I typically run my games as a collaborative GM as opposed to an adversarial GM. My job is not to "win" against or "stump" the players. My job is to help in facilitating and weaving a story that holds rising actions, conflict, and climax for every player at the table to enjoy and contribute towards.
