About the adventure

Embark on a dark-fantasy D&D 5e adventure to escape the clutches of an evil cult led by an immortal Lich. Trek through the treacherous Bloodfog Forest, hostile kingdoms, and ancient underground passages, in order to reach the alleged safety of the city known as Pillar #7. This campaign is intended to last between 8-12 sessions, with potential to extend it if the party wants to. The campaign and setting are homebrew. I have a robust setting prepared but I also very much enjoy incorporating player ideas and building the plot around the PCs.

About me

I've been designing and running TTRPGs for many years: it's my passion in life. I specialize in play-by-post, political rpgs, heavy on story, world-building, and diplomacy. My games are highly player-driven, even in initial world-building. I find that by enabling player-creativity, the entire game becomes much deeper.

Character creation

Creating your character

You're welcome to come with a character idea, or hash one out with the group. During Session 0, we will finish up any PC creation and tie your characters together, through their backstories or the setup for our campaign. We'll ultimately store characters on Roll20.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

I will be using Roll20 as a Virtual-Table-Top (VTT) and Discord for Voice Chat (VC). Please have or create an account for both prior to the start of the campaign :) Please also be sure to have a copy of the D&D 5e player handbook rules which you can follow and reference.

What (Peter) Rolls Reuss brings to the table

In my game you'll get: - Immersive VTT sessions (with maps, music, and handouts). - Custom stylized art (for scenes, maps, and NPCs). - An original, carefully prepared campaign (plot, twists, easter-eggs). - Flexible narrative (and mechanical) style with a "yes and" approach. - Gripping, tactically demanding encounters. - A custom, commemorative animation at the end of the Campaign. - A GM with decades of experience.

Safety

How (Peter) Rolls Reuss creates a safe table

In Session 0 we'll go over the content and themes, as well as what everyone is hoping to get out of their experience, and what they'd like to avoid. This is a dark/horror setting which will dip into those themes. I promise to approach safety as collaboratively as possible and with the great sensitivity and respect it deserves.
