About the adventure
Hello hello! I am Maroon and I'm a Roleplay-focused GM who loves to run a few good combats throughout my sessions, as I believe the heart of TTRPGS is the roleplay! As for this game, we're in the far flung dystopian future of Cyberpunk where chooms and choombatta's alike are getting chromed to the teeth before throwing themselves into the meat grinders of the corporate world or the fiery blazes of (un)organized crime to make a dime. Money, Reputation, Death. That is what this game is about. Your characters find themselves in a spot of bother, indebted to a source of which you and I will create together for the world or utilize one of the Cyberpunk official groups/organizations. This debt, whatever it is, is great enough that it uproots whatever life you tried to live before and thrusts you into becoming an Edgerunner. A criminal that gets paid to do everyone else's dirty work through booming iron or mono-molecular blades.

Creating your character
We will be using the "Complete Package" method in the Cyberpunk RED sourcebook to make our characters and then input them into FoundryVTT or I will simply have you make your token (or I will) to put on the maps while you use a form fillable character sheet. Whichever people prefer! We will be having a session 0 to see if we can establish some ties to not only the world but also each other's characters and see if we all vibe with one another before heading into this campaign. TTRPGs are a social affair and I don't want a group that's a little too awkward with one another stuck with each other for the length of a whole campaign!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be making your characters together so don't worry too much about that as I will have the resources required, just make sure you have a discord account, FoundryVTT account (you can play as guest too I believe), and you will join my discord where we will hash everything else out!
What Maroon brings to the table
I provide ample ambience in the form of a wide range of weather effects, background music, etc., vivid descriptions of your surroundings no matter where you are, the entirety of the wonderful FoundryVTT capabilities, as well as a myriad of character voices to color this crazy, whacky, sometimes depressing world of Cyberpunk. I love to embrace the rule of cool and I think this world and rule system really lend themselves well to it. Though in some cases, I will be enforcing the rules as they are written due to it being important for the experience of not only myself, but your fellow players as well!
Homebrew rules
If something comes up as we're playing that is stupid in the rules as written, I'll probably override them for your convenience! It almost always favors yall, but I do not have any particular Homebrew rules in mind at this moment.
