About the adventure
This is Curse of Strahd. In my session I will put the players through a 2 session, 6 hour introduction before entering the Land of Barovia. This will give the players a chance to get acquainted as well as progress them to level 3, so they can become more prepared for what lies ahead. This is Curse of Strahd. I am looking to run this every two weeks on alternating days, as I get one day off per week.

About me
Hello and welcome! I’m Mr. Mike. I bring a unique background to the table—I’ve worked as a post-mortem vascular surgeon, licensed mortician, private investigator, and a counselor working with at-risk youth. Real-life experience with the darker side of humanity has shaped the way I run horror: grounded, intense, and unforgettable. My love for horror started early, reading Cujo in 5th grade, and hasn’t slowed down since—700+ books later. Favorites include Jaws and the deeply unsettling Feeders from Within by Peter Evans. If you enjoy dread, tension, and psychological horror—you’re in the right place. Why I Run Games I didn’t exactly grow up on the straight and narrow. As a kid in Milwaukee, I got into my fair share of trouble—until a friend picked up the DC Heroes Roleplaying Game. Everything changed. Instead of causing chaos, we started creating stories. That experience stuck with me: boredom creates trouble—storytelling creates purpose. That philosophy still drives how I run games today. Creating your character
I am very open to the character you want to play. We start at level one. We can roll stats during our session 0. For this game I really want the players having a character that they are very interested in playing and developing. It helps to be neutral or good aligned for this campaign.
I'm looking to start this April 3rd. Looking to run this once or twice a month depending on players schedules. I'm experienced running Curse of Strahd start to finish. Hoping to meet some new people and lets have some fun.

Players will need a microphone for discord voice chat, and access to Roll20 for the visuals.

I will bring experience because this is not my first time running this game. I will display lots of photos. I will bring my own unique conflicts and dilemmas to the story. I will add depth to the NPC's.
