About the adventure
A few decades ago, out in the middle of the ocean, a brand new Region suddenly sprouted from the seabed nearly overnight! Creating your character
Before the sessions I will walk you through how to create your character and we can discuss a Pokemon for you to start out with. In general you will be starting as a Teen and put you on the rank everyone else is (unless you'd rather start out with a lower rank than everyone else as a handicap or for roleplay purposes).
What to expect
Preparing for the session
The only thing required is a Discord account to join the server we'll be playing in, aswell as a speaker or headphones to enjoy the music and ambience, no mic required since this will be a text-only game!
What Oil Devil brings to the table
While the players will be playing via text on discord, I will provide customized character art, sound effects and ambiance + music via a sound channel, aswell as making new Pokemon for this region from scratch. My GMing style emphasizes roleplay, a friendly and casual atmosphere and above all else, fun!
Homebrew rules
I use a homebrewed version of the Contest system to simplify it into a more usable state, and over the course of the adventure I may add more homebrew systems if players decide that the vanilla ones are not fun to use or interact with.
