About the adventure
Your character wakes to the fell symphony of Belial's worship. Kept in the depths of a diabolic dungeon, you must partner with your companions to fight free and return to civilization. Set in the demon-scarred wastes of Sarkoris, this short adventure will serve as an introduction to the bloodshed and intrigue of Pathfinder 2e. You'll begin in mortal peril—thrust into fighting for your life from the outset. As you attempt your escape, you'll be able to make unexpected allies, rendezvous with other rebels, and learn about the Cult of Delights. _________________________________ A few things to note about playing at my table: - My tables will NEVER have more than five players. I don't believe it's possible to give everyone a fair opportunity to play in a larger party. - We'll talk over Discord before the first session together. I want to make sure you'll have fun playing with me! - I'll onboard new players to my Foundry instance to make sure they're familiar with how to get the most out of that software. - Session zero is not charged. It's meant to help round out the party, introduce everyone, and ensure we're on the same page before the adventure begins. - Sessions will last 3.25 hours. There will be a fifteen-minute intermission at the halfway point.

About me
You found me! Well done~. I've recently left a corporate career to focus on my creative pursuits and take better care of my family. I've spent more than a decade telling stories with my friends, and now... I'd like offer my talents to others—make new friends, author new experiences, and help my wife with our mortgage. So, here we are—you're yearning to play in a game which satisfies, and I'm looking for people to delight. Let's answer some questions. 1. Who are you, exactly? I'm Faye!~ A woman in her early thirties. I have a degree in English Literature, a minor in Religious Studies, and I've been an actress for much of my life. I did a stint in healthcare software implementation. I've also lived abroad in China and Ireland. 2. Why would I play at your table? Most crucially: my tables are *small*. I do not believe it's possible to make everyone a meaningful part of the narrative with 6+ players. I have an excellent sense for when people are engaged and what they need to remain engaged. Each person should get many moments in the limelight. I draw from a deep well of genre experience to present famous tropes in my own way and make them anew at the table. If you'd like more perspective, you can read my reviews! 3. What are your politics? I'm a transgender woman. My existence is inherently political, so—to be completely transparent—I stand with the powerless, the dispossessed, and the diverse. My games aren't about modern politics, but if we're going to become friends and tell stories together, I want you to know where my heart abides. 4. How do you communicate with players? I have a Discord server for potential/current players! You have access to me throughout the week (while the sun is shining). 5. Do you use AI assets? I avoid AI assets as a general rule. If I accidentally use AI character art, I apologize. Players are welcome to use AI assets for their own characters. ________________________ PRIVATE PARTIES If you'd like to hire me for your friend group or for a duet/solo game, I'm open to running any adventure you'd like! My rate for private parties will depend on how much preparation and reading/research I need to do to run the game. Inquire away~.

Creating your character
Character ideation will be done in Discord before session zero. In session zero, we'll refine character concepts, create our pre-existing party relationships, and finalize the concepts. All published Paizo materials are available. I encourage using Pathbuilder 2e. I'm open to custom character content from specific sources (Team+ options). You're also welcome to aggresively reflavor mechanical elements to suit your vision. I'll ask you many questions to better situate your character in the setting. I assume no familiarity with Pathfinder 2e's world—that's what I'm here for! By the time we start, you should feel like you have a strong sense of the character you're playing.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will join my Foundry instance, which is hosted through The Forge to preserve IP anonymity. They'll also need to join my Discord server to jump into the voice call! I'll be on microphone and camera throughout the session. Players are required to have a microphone, but camera is not expected.
What Saoirse brings to the table
I provide art, music, and acting to immerse my players. I'll be on camera, too, because physical mannerisms are important to characterization. I've been told I have a soothing "podcast" voice—which is *probably* a compliment!—and I create some pre-written descriptions to give certain locations or enemies an authorial flair. I tinker with combat to ensure it pushes your characters to be creative and resilient. Expect real challenges and close encounters. That said, I will not kill characters without player consent—if your character would die, we'll figure out a more interesting consequence for your brush with death. I have a strong understanding of the rules and the setting. It isn't a perfect understanding, but I'll make rapid rulings in moments of uncertainty to keep the action moving. I do my best to ensure each character gets a scene where they're at the center during a session. I also use a "Raise Hand" module in Foundry. If your character has something to say, but someone else is talking (myself included!), you can click Raise Hand to notify the party without interrupting. This makes sure each person gets a turn in a conversation or negotiation. I'm also responsible for keeping combat moving smoothly. Turns should not take longer than two minutes. If players are routinely taking too long during combat, I'll meet with them and coach them on better leveraging the Foundry interface. It's important we're all conscientious in how we use our shared time.
Homebrew rules
We'll play with the Free Archetype, Ancestry Paragon, and Gradual Ability Score alternative rules. The archetype you pick will need to be approved. I strongly encourage picking an archetype which makes your character more nuanced or versatile—don't double-down on your existing strengths for raw mechanical advantage.

How Saoirse creates a safe table
We'll establish Lines and Veils. The X-card is available in Foundry. Players are always welcome to reach out to me privately about any concerns. In twelve years running games, I haven't had a player report feeling uncomfortable at my table... but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have the appropriate tools in place. We'll also set Stars and Wishes at the beginning of each chapter to make sure player desires are clearly communicated.
