About the adventure

Once every hundred years, the gates of the Seelie Court open for a dazzling social season where fae nobles and mortal guests gather to forge alliances, arrange marriages, and trade dangerous favors beneath the radiant Heartbloom Tree, the source of the court’s magic. This year, however, the tree's blossoms are beginning to fade. With every petal that wilts, the Seelie Court's power wanes. As honored guests of the season, you must navigate alliances, scandal, romance, and trickery to uncover who is draining its power before the final bloom falls. This game is a great fit for fans of A Court of Fey and Flowers, Bridgerton, Jane Austen, Rom-coms, and Sherlock Holmes.

About me

Howdy! My name is Ellie. I have been playing and DMing DND 5e and a host of other systems (such as Masks, Monster of the Week, Good Society, and have even made my own TTRPG system) for almost 10 years. I would love to take my skill set and use it to host even more games. DMing is super fun for me, and I love coming up with new modules and story ideas to have a good time with players foiling my plans every step of the way. I am part of the LGBT community, and when I host games you can be sure that it is a safe space for any queer players. I also do not tolerate racism, sexism, or any other hateful content or speech at my tables. I aim to make my games fun and safe for all involved. On this note, I utilize the X card so that players know they can take a time out any time if needed to discuss how to proceed if they are uncomfortable with a current situation in game. I am open to almost any setting or system that you want to try. I am a flexible, highly collaborative DM who plays for the love of the game. Please feel free to message me any specific questions on discord.

Character creation

Creating your character

Come to session 0 with a list of your favorite character ideas. We will be creating our characters together at session 0.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

DM me after signing up for the Roll20 & Discord server link. All necessary prep work will be located in the Discord server, and I'm happy to chat one-on-one with people to help with any questions or concerns before session 0 :)

What Ellie brings to the table

We will use roll20 and discord to do our sessions! I am a GM who loves heavy roleplay. I try to offer something for everyone, so one of the things I ask in session 0 is to tell me what you like the most about playing TTRPGS. I love involving player characters in the world, and I am willing to work with you on tying your characters into the plot and world building. I love a player driven game, but I am open to creating a more structured game. I am flexible, and will work with players to make a game that everyone enjoys.

Safety

How Ellie creates a safe table

We will be using the x card! In order to utilize the x card, simply say the phrase "x card". During session 0 we will go over table norms along with lines and veils so we can all be on the same page. I do not tolerate bigotry at my table. I would say that this game is rated PG-13.
