About the adventure

I'm a worldbuilder and long-time DM who runs games in my original setting Zarathel, a custom world featuring unique pantheons, factions, monsters, and evolving player-driven stories. My games focus on immersive storytelling, meaningful player choices, and tactical combat where decisions matter. The Spider Queen no longer answers prayers. Across the vast caverns of the Underdark, Drow Houses tear at one another in a brutal struggle for dominance. Alliances shatter, priestesses lose their divine power, and entire cities descend into paranoia and bloodshed. In the chaos, one truth remains: Power belongs to those ruthless enough to seize it. You begin this story in chains. Captured from the surface or the deep, you have been dragged into a slave pit far beneath the world — a place where sunlight is a myth and survival is measured in hours, not days. But fate intervenes. A powerful Drow House purchases you, not as slaves, but as deniable agents — expendable operatives sent where true drow cannot risk themselves. You will be tasked with: • Espionage between rival houses • Sabotage of enemy strongholds • Assassinations and covert strikes • Exploration of ancient ruins buried in the deep • Recovering powerful relics in the name of your masters If you succeed, your captors grow stronger. If you fail, you were never meant to survive. Yet something deeper stirs within the Underdark. Ancient horrors awaken in forgotten tunnels. New powers answer prayers once meant for Lolth. Entire outposts vanish into the dark. And in the vacuum left by a dead goddess… something new may be weaving a web of its own. Serve well and you might earn trust, status, and influence within the very society that enslaved you. Or perhaps, in the shadows of a broken faith…you’ll find a chance to escape the web entirely.

About me

I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons since 2021 and started running games in 2023. Over the past 2–3 years of DMing, I’ve enjoyed crafting a homebrew world and telling stories with my players where choice truly matters. I currently run 4 campaigns with a total of 19 players. I like to focus on creating a narrative-driven experience that makes every character feel like an integral part of the world, whether through their backstories, their personal goals, or the choices they make along the way. I like to give players plenty of space for roleplay, character exploration, and meaningful interactions with NPCs and fellow party members, while also creating challenging combats to keep players on their toes. Exploration is something I continue to refine, but it has been a area of mine that keeps improving. All in all, I'm a DM because I love collaborating with players to tell fun, captivating stories together.

Character creation

Creating your character

I will provide a free session 0 with all players, to go over how character creation will go. Stats will be decided with either point buy or standard array, players will get to choose which one they would like. Other than that I would like players to have a idea, and be able to work with me to make the character feel as if they belong in the world.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Things needed to play will require players to have a dndbeyond account, and discord account and microphone.

What Glitch brings to the table

What I provide to players is a custom world to explore, with a homebrew pantheon, monsters, and magic items. For when it comes to actually play I provide in-depth character backstories, whether you would like to be involved what appears in the game related to the game or if you would like me to surprise you. I also provide and utilize ambient music for setting the tone of the scene. Tactical combat through the high quality maps I'll have in Foundry, and decent voice acting.
