About the adventure

When an ancient lost obelisk shatters—reality cracks with it and all hell is about to break loose on the poor unsuspecting town above it . As unseen terror seeps from the depths and reality itself no longer follows the rules, will your party brave the darkness to save the town? Unearth secrets older than the gods, battle horrors that defy reason, forge alliances, and save not only Phandalin - but possibly of the entirety of the Forgotten Realms. This campaign starts at level 1 and finishes at level 12.

About me

I am a long time D&D player having started at the beginning of 2nd edition. For the past 6 years I have been running several D&D campaigns and loving every minute of it. I am the perfect DM for those of you who want to learn how to play D&D, or/and play with a DM that isn't here to make a political statement. I just want to enjoy some great time sitting around our shared table weaving stories and limenting my poor rolls. If you want a high-energy DM of a thousand voices who loves to laugh and have fun, then please reach out and grab a seat at my table.

What Brian G. (PonSquared) brings to the table

Species I have a complete set of enhanced versions of each species found in the Players Handbook. My common species have multiple additional subspecies options not found in the PHB. In addition, I have several additional species options available (all with subspecies options available). Subclasses In addition to what is in the Players Handbook, I have been compiling a comprehensive selection of curated additional subclass options for most classes. Spells I have curated a list of additional spells for you to pick from for all spell casting classes. House Rules I have a list of common sense house rules to help speed up and improve the experience of the game. Custom Monsters & Magic Items I love creating monsters and magic items. Look forward to some cool stuff coming your way!! Inspiration (Deck?!) I use a Deck of Many Things based Inspiration system that is always beneficial for the players and a lot more interesting than just a simple reroll. All cards have unique art as well! Attunement and the Commonality of Magic Items I allow for additional special attunement slots which I will explain in greater detail at a point in the story when they become available. Furthermore, I really love giving out magic items and other cool things. To me, earning loot is a fun part of the game! As a 2nd edition player myself, I very much disagree with the limited magic item philosophy of D&D 5th edition.
