About the adventure

In Fae's Anatomy, you will be playing a team of doctors working to diagnosis and treat a patient suffering from a magical malady. Talk with your patient, perform tests, and figure out what they are suffering from before it is too late! All while dealing with the melodrama of a soap-opera doctor! Think the show House with more magical wackiness. NO MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE NEEDED TO PLAY! In Fae's Anatomy, you are the professional! Is a CAT scan a computed axial tomography scan using rotating x-rays to produce detailed internal images of the patient's body? Or do you rub the patient with Bast's sacred cats and divine an answer? Or is it a secret third thing? You decide!

About me

My name is Ben and I've been GMing TTRPGs for over a decade now. I'm a regular cast member of Technical Difficulties Gaming Podcast (https://www.technicaldifficultiespod.com/). My preferred systems are Powered by the Apocalypse (Blades in the Dark, Monster of the Week, FIST), d100 horror (Mothership, Call of Cthulhu, Unknown Armies), and GUMSHOE (Fear Itself, Night's Black Agents, Trail of Cthulhu). I also love trying small story games that I find on itch.io. I'm LGBTQA+ friendly and I don't accept any Nazi shit at my table.

Character creation

Creating your character

We'll go through everything before the session. It shouldn't take too long.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

The game is pretty simple so you don't really need to prep too much. Here is the web app for online play, which has most of the rules for player characters if you want to look before the game: http://faesanatomyapp.com/ .

What Ben from TechDiff brings to the table

Online play for Fae's Anatomy works through a web app(http://faesanatomyapp.com/) that helps to automate and organize much of the game systems. You can make your character here and look over the rules before hand, though I can also explain everything before the game.

Safety

How Ben from TechDiff creates a safe table

First rule is Do Not Harm: while this will be a comedy game, it will touch on diseases and hospitals which can get very dark. We'll talk a little bit before the game on how to best avoid issues, but keep in mind that this is a comedy game
