I don't use AI, and I always compensate artists and creatives for their work. TTRPGs for me are mostly about community. When I put games together, I try to think about personalities, and how they will interact with each other as well as the game world. Many of my players have been showing up to weekly sessions for more than four years at this point. I’ve run a ton of TTRPG systems over my lifetime. I’m shameless about taking all the best ideas and mechanics from every game I’ve come across. I can lean into tactical combat, high melodrama, or total chaos depending on what matters most to the players. Every session is a collaboration, and I get genuine joy from watching players bring their ideas to life and make their mark on the story. As a former teacher and educator, I care deeply about fairness and helping players to find their own voice.
