About me

Hello and welcome, I'm Avix, I am a lover of many things including TTRPGs, video games, Fantasy, FanFiction, and more. My journey into tabletop RPGs began in early 2011, and since then I've been deeply involved in TTRPGs. With several years of experience as both a Game Master and player, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the table. As a GM I love to craft not only immersive, beautiful worlds, but engaging stories with you. Stories that, through your in-game actions, backstories, choices, and more, focus on what we want to tell together. I invite you to join me as we create better worlds and stories.

Character creation

Creating your character

Pregenerated characters have been provided, created by the GM at level 3 apropriate for the One-Shot adventure. All pregens are available to all players so that you may discuss among yourselves which character you would like to play. If you are unsatisfied with the available pregenerated characters please let the me know in advance and I will provide a few more options to choose from.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players Will Require: *A Computer *Internet *Microphone/Headset *Discord Account for access to our server *Roll20 Account for access to the VTT You can access the game rules to review if you wish to refresh yourself before the game time, however this is not required. All players should decide together who is playing what character before the game begins.

What Avix brings to the table

As a GM I embrace the aspect of "Power of the Player" or "Rule of Cool" so long as what you are attempting to achieve does not break the game and can be done in game then I will typically allow it within reason. I will utilize NPC character voices in proper vernacular and accent to bring the NPCs and world to life. I will also utilize music to provide a more atmospheric background to the setting. We will be sticking mainly to the rules as written but any adjustments made will be noted or made at a situational basis and then noted going forward as consistent homebrew rules that will be listed and used thereafter to provide a full list of custom rule edits. Access to the official and approved errata supported on Roll20 can be found within the Compedium Tab when signed into the game, if it is not available on Roll20 then resources will be housed within a dedicated channel in the game's Discord Server.

Safety

How Avix creates a safe table

Our X,N, and O cards will be handled within Roll20 using the BurnBryte Safety Add-on. During, before and after sessions I keep an open door policy and invite players to reach out to me at any time if there is anything that they wish or need to discuss. I use the Monte Cooke Consent in Gaming Checklist to provide players the ability to provide me any topics to which they are sensitive which needed to be avoided.
