About the adventure

This is a game meant for anyone who enjoys the roleplay aspect of roleplaying games, not all enemies will fight to the bitter end, and not all the tactics will be optimal. What I want the most is for everyone to have a good time, I won't punish you for trying to do something the rules don't explicitly allow, but I also won't doubt putting your character in jail if you steal from the shopkeeper and get caught, the point is to have fun but that doesn't mean actions don't have consequences.

About me

I'm a Dm from México with 6 years of experience playing, I enjoy running roleplay heavy games in which my players really get to show off their creativity pushing the limits of the rules.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

All you really need to have to join my game is a Discord account so I can add you to my server, I will set up a foundry server, but you don't need a personal account to access it.

What zero 1712 brings to the table

You can expect me to do combat that's fair, using most of the rules as written but with a willingness to bend them in order to allow the players to do cool stuff. I really like to do character voices and sink pretty deep into the roleplay my server has a music bot to help set the tone of any given part of a session, I really buy into the role-playing part of the game, and I hope you do too.

Homebrew rules

I don't use that many homebrew rules, the one's to keep in mind are: Crunchy crits - Your critical hit deals max damage + a roll of the dice for example a crit with a dagger would deal 4 + dex + 1d4. Bonus action potions - it is a bonus action to use a potion on yourself and a whole action to use a potion on someone else. Limited spells - Even if more than one person plays a spellcaster I would only allow a single player to take Counterspell.

Safety

How zero 1712 creates a safe table

During session 0 I will send the players a link to an editable document where they can add all of their lines and veils and hold an open-door policy, so that they can feel safe enough to walk out or call a time out at any time, I'm always checking my messages thru discord so they can send their X, N and O's by a private message or if they feel it necessary they can say it out loud and I'll attend to the issue in that moment.
