About the adventure

Inspired off of settings like Control and the SCP Foundation. The players take the role of members of the Phenomenon Management Agency (a deep state secret much like the titular organizations of the aforementioned settings). Players will be able to fill all sorts of roles that their PMA site desperately needs such as the site director, researchers, secret agents, Mobile Task Force members, and etc. They will be needed to bring their base back from the brink of collapse after a massive containment breach that all of the players were caught up in (and somehow lucky enough to barely survive). There will be many references and even direct inspirations or utilization of famous SCPs, FBC artifacts, and even anomalies present in the X-Files, Supernatural, or The Dresden files. If players are interested in going against the truly strange and horrifying then this game is made for them. We'll be utilizing some of the most recent rules from Monster Of The Week for this game and setting. Not all Hunter Playbooks will be allowed for the purpose of narrative cohesion (at least upon character creation). The recommended playbooks for this game are as follows: • The Chosen (The site Director with their Service Weapon) • The Expert (The Head of Research with their laboratory) • The Professional (The Head of Security and Resources) • The Gumshoe (The Head of Secrecy and Agent Deployment) These playbooks are not mandatory but are recommended so that the players better represent the shattered pieces of a deep-state security site pulling itself back together.

About me

Hey Hey! My name is Blozzom! I am an online GM. I have been Playing and DM TTRPGS since I was roughly 12 years old and have fallen deeply in love with the hobby. I want to be able to share the stories that I craft with others while being able to make their owns dreams into reality.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will be done with the group as a whole so that everyone is on the same page about their character motivations, abilities, backgrounds, and story beats. MotW is a game based on telling a story together, and the first page of that story starts together. Players will be heavily discouraged from min-maxing their characters as doing goes against the design of MotW.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will be required to have... • A Roll20 account. • A Discord account. • An average to above-average quality microphone. • Potential character art (without the use of AI) • Excitement for adventure, mystery, and horror.

What Blozzom brings to the table

I will provide... • Dynamic, reactive, and real NPCs • Character voices • Professional audio quality • Ambient music • Romanceable NPCs • A wide variety of female and NB NPCs (I blame gender-dysphoria) • A smaller variety of male NPCs (They do exist!) • A welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all reasonable cultures and subcultures. • Hype moments and aura.

Safety

How Blozzom creates a safe table

Once the new player and I have contact with one another I will tell them what is and is not permitted at my table, and then inquire with them what limits or veils or lines they might have. My aftercare typically happens both before and after session just to check in with all of my players on an emotional level. The group chat for the game and my direct messages are always and forever will be open to players that need anything and everything. I'll make sure to have an updated list of their X, N, & O cards through direct messages.
