What Far Scholar brings to the table
Far Scholar Server is my bespoke multi-table game world inspired by classic 90s JRPGs! I have the entire collection of interactive Earthdawn 4th Edition Corebooks for Foundry VTT along with a vast collection of high end fantasy maps, character illustrations, tokens, and music made by real human artists- 0% AI. I have been an Earthdawn superfan for 20+ years and I love to share my favorite RPG with new players.
Homebrew rules
Point of Fate! In most Sessions, players will receive a single "Point of Fate." Burn this Token and you may force a re-roll of any dice roll which occurs at the table. Stunts! Players are rewarded with a +1-3 Bonus on some actions by offering a particularly good description or plan.

How Far Scholar creates a safe table
Lines and Veils- My stories are mostly PG13. Sex and violence are frequently alluded to rather than appearing live, and we often "Fade to Black" when content starts to get awkward. In Session Zero I try to give new players a good idea of what to expect at my Tables, and get to know their triggers or comfort levels so that I can tailor sessions appropriate. Breaks often occur during or after strong or dramatic content. And there is a Debriefing period available after each session where players can discuss any concerns they may have. I maintain an 'Open Door' policy and players may message me and I will address their concerns in a timely fashion.
