About the adventure
☠️"If you're watching this, it's because I've experienced an unexpected shutdown - in organic terms: I'm dead." 🤖Murder in Metal City is an introductory adventure for the Starfinder 2e system that will put you against a mysterious killer responsible for the death of a friend - tracking them with all the resources at your disposal and, maybe with a small amount of luck: solving the murder, finding the killer's hideout, and bringing them to justice! 🛰️You will be provided a chance to experience the Starfinder 2e core rules, concepts, and flow of gameplay - supported by your GM, using the Foundry VTT Premium Module.

About me
Good morning, or rather good-day to you! ☕I'm Jack, a field archaeologist from the United Kingdom who's been playing TTRPGs for roughly eight years now: starting on Roll 20 as a player in a D&D5e game, to now where I'm currently GMing a Pathfinder 2e Kingmaker game for a close group of friends! 🎲I want to allow others who have that desire to play a game, like Pathfinder 2e, to be able to! GMing can be intimidating for a lot of folks, so allow me to help; I'll take the reins and help steer the cart - and, if you'd be so kind, allow me to take you into the world of Golarion! In the future, I'd love to run games for other systems like Cyberpunk Red, Hunter: The Reckoning, and Warhammer Fantasy & 40k. 🎨🖌️I want to provide people with a creative outlet, and a safe space, to experience and thrive in a fantasy world that truly allows for infinite amounts of personal, and creative, expression.

Creating your character
Characters will be made together in session zero! Prior to session zero, I would encourage players to consider what roles they would comfortably take in the party and bring that energy to the group.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
🎙️Players should prepare by ensuring they have a functioning Discord account and a stable internet connection. Once a part of the Discord server, players will receive an invitation link for the Foundry VTT game using SQYRE; an account is needed, but can automatically be made using your Google account.
What Jack Smith brings to the table
🎲You will be provided with the experience granted by the Murder in Metal City Foundry VTT module, and for the duration of the campaign, you will be given access to all of the relevant books on Demiplane through its sharing feature. ☕Though a lot of NPC voices will likely default to RP-British English, ambient sounds and creatures clips will be employed to add an additional layer of immersion. 🎵Copious amounts of music used from the official module!
