The Prince of Spiders is a Pathfinder 2nd Edition campaign set in a fantastic world where the characters will act and live out their lives in this grim medieval universe, either as humans or beasts. There, they must decide to side for freedom of mind or safety and security; to uncover the secrets throttling society as tyrant angels puppeteer the Kingdom of Eldenstein. You are the heroes seeking out to clip the wings of these god-like monstrosities and return freedom of mind, body and magick to the deserving mortals. You have been given guidance through the long shadow of a god formerly condemned by man, now forgotten by time known as the Prince of Spiders. This Prince was milked by humanity for his magick. This was seen as a transgression against the tyrant angels who used such a savage act against even a fallen one of their kind as an excuse to occupy Eldenstein in the first place. Now condemned as a monster, the Prince of Spiders resides within a dangerous tower, his very tortured presence leeching the magick away from the land—the very magick that the forefathers of mortalkind robbed him of. Now you, the heroes must free this fallen deity from his shackles to punish the evil that was wrought in the first place, once and for all. 🎨 The maps and artwork for this game are hand-drawn by myself! Engross yourself in a truly homebrew game unlike any other, where human creativity is front and center! 🌟 You are the heroes and protagonists of this story! Hey there! I'm Dandy and I've been a DM for over eight years now, exploring all sorts of systems. At the moment, I'm specializing in Dungeons and Dragons 5e and World of Darkness. Creating your character
Characters are created individually for the campaign on Pathbuilder to be imported onto FoundryVTT. I will work with all concepts to integrate them into the world and story. I will work with players individually in the creation of their characters and help them if needed so they can be approved. For this campaign, you will begin at level three. Additional creation information is listed on the campaign primer.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please read all of the rules and read the lore and information listed on the Campaign Primer which will be sent to you upon inquiry. It's required that you have a working microphone and computer, or another system that can run Pathbuilder, Foundry, and Discord. You will need to follow along the provided master sheet for the campaign, made and programmed for updates, game comprehension, loot, etcetera. You must have a Foundry account and a Discord in order to participate. You must join the campaign server to participate. If you need assistance in any of this, I am more than happy to help. Session 0 is paid and required.
What Dandy brings to the table
🖌️ I offer commission services to players if they wish their characters to be drawn. ✨ I provide hand-made artwork and assets, the digital books and links and all assistance needed to learn the game, and to help ease you into the game and setting. 📚 I provide a rich story-telling experience, with a variety of voices, visuals, and opportunities for your character to truly shine. This is a custom experience, where I will do my best to cater to you! 🎨 I also provide artwork of player characters! For five sessions, by request I will draw you a sketch of your character as a token! For ten, you will receive lines, and for fifteen, you will get a fully coloured token!

How Dandy creates a safe table
We will go over the Session Zero, table rules and expectations at the beginning of the campaign, and at the end of every session I'll offer player feedback and request DM feedback as well. I will do my best so that we will all be on the same page, and remain comfortable and transparent. This campaign will be very dark and cover various uncomfortable topics. Please if you're interested in attending this campaign, understand that by joining this campaign, you consent in being mature with these topics, and to handle them in character and to also understand that they are being handled delicately as fictional content. Riding off of this, you must understand that the actions and beliefs of characters are not congruent to the beliefs and actions of the players who control them.
