About the adventure

Set in the Dune universe, this campaign will follow the Agents of Dune adventure that follows the rise of House Nagara as it navigates the perilous prestige of being selected to rule Arrakis. Under the tutelage of House Harkonnen, the previous rulers, the scions of House Nagara and their aides will learn what is required to rule Arrakis and ensure the safety of the universe's only supply of the spice melange. Designed as an introduction to the Adventures in the Imperium 2d20 system, this game is perfect for anyone interested in playing the Dune universe, from those experienced with the system to those who have never touched a die before. Dive into the intrigue, politics, deadly combat, and tense negotiations of ruling a planet with all eyes on your and where the future of your entire House can be won or lost on a well-placed word just as easily as to a knife's edge.

I do my best with differentiating character voices an will have music at the table to provide ambiance, along with handouts and visual aids. Creativity is encouraged in problem-solving as a core part of the 2d20 system, so as long as the setting isn't getting broken, bring your best ideas! Expect to be immersed in the intrigue and deadly everyday life of Arrakis and the Dune universe.

How Stephen creates a safe table

Prior to session zero, a link will be sent to a Lines and Veils document to privately list potential issues that could arise. During session zero, anything brought up in the documents will be gone over, as well as how to use the X, N, O cards through Roll20's interface. After each session there will be a review of the session and anything that came up during it.
