About the adventure
RIfts is a gonzo setting with bonkers characters. If you like fantasy or sci-fi or westerns or horror mythos or etc... and for them to all be mashed up into one setting. Well then this is for you. The setting is after the world went thru an apocalypse and are living in the aftermath. Rifts opened up that connect to other dimensions which let things come pouring in. America is broken into different factions. Atlantis has risen. Demons and horrors abound all over the world. Ripe for heroes to save the day, no... the world!

About me
Hi I am Daniel a Retired Army 19D1P. I have been running TTRPGs since I was in high school for about 25 years. On 2 different deployments I have run RPGs. I have also run games for the wounded warrior project. I have run games and had several game groups, both online and in person. My groups have been soldiers and civilians as a group, or mixed.

Creating your character
We will both talk on discord you will make your character and I will walk you thru the process if you need the help. This will happen anytime before we start our sessions together. Stats follow the normal set up in the book but may change if its a replacement character based on how far you were before your personal died. As far as the books you can use only the starting books can be used until the game progresses at which time new unlocked options can be used.

Preparing for the session
You will need Roll20 to be able to play the game. Also Discord would be helpful to do extra discussing after game.
What Daniel brings to the table
My style is Theater of the Mind. That said I have world maps and even zonal battle mats for some semblance of spatial area and where you are in it. All the rules will be laded out but I do love anything you guys want to add to the narrative that fits. I don't normally do voices however I will in great detail tell you all of the 5 senses about person, places, and things. I may or not Add ambient music. I will make suggestions of what to listen to when playing.
Homebrew rules
The 3 rule modification are as follows 1. Upon Character death they will be allowed to start a new character with more advances then when they first started. 2. Zone combat. 3. We start with just the first books that came out and will use other books as the game progresses.
