About the adventure
This one-shot is all about fighting a red dragon. You decide with the other players if you want to be facing an Adult Red Dragon or an Ancient Red Dragon and on what level you want to be. You can come with a pre-existing character of yours or create a new one for this epic battle. We will not waste time on role-playing or exploration, but we dive straight to the fray. You'll get a chance to take all the preparing actions you want before stepping into the lair of the calamity. The fight will follow the 2024 Rules As Written and the dragon will do its best to make you regret ever showing up. (I will not hold back.) You as the players have the chance to make adjustments to the difficulty of the encounter by deciding the level of your party and what magic items you get for the battle. You decide the chances of survival. We discuss the expectations and decide the details before the session.

Creating your character
You can join with your existing character or you can create one for the session. The level of the characters is decided by the players, depending on the level of difficulty you want. Character creation happens using D&D Beyond and the characters will be imported to Foundry VTT at the beginning of the session. I have a very clear video on how to create your character for the game. By default we will not create the characters together.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
When you join the game, you will receive an email with instructions on how to proceed. Following the instructions, please join my Discord server and create your character. 😎 For the games you need: - A good computer/laptop and an internet connection. 💻 - A headset or similar for hearing and talking. 🎧 - Discord installed and working. 👾 - D&D Beyond account. 🐲 We will use Foundry VTT for the games, and I use Molten Hosting as server host, but this doesn't require any preparations from you. 😇
What GM Jane brings to the table
I will share the 2024 rule books with you in D&D Beyond and provide the licensed version of Foundry VTT where the gameplay happens. We take a break of 10 minutes roughly midway of each session.
