About the adventure

In this one-shot, you take on the roles of true gods. You are not yet at the height of your power — but you intend to change that. Your strength depends on your mortal followers. The more numerous and devoted they become, the greater your divine might. To secure their future — and yours — you have devised a daring plan: steal dragon eggs and reshape them into loyal, powerful allies who will defend humanity against its enemies. There is, however, a problem. Celestial laws forbid you from acting directly on the Material Plane. Fortunately, there may be a loophole. Dragon Mountain — a mystical peak that drifts between the planes — is said to be home to an ancient red dragon. And she is rumored to have eggs. She is also unimaginably powerful. A direct confrontation would mean certain destruction even for being of your power. But perhaps you don’t need to defeat her. If you can find a way into her innermost hoard, seize the eggs, and escape before she notices… you may yet change the balance of power in the heavens.

About me

I am a very experienced GM who is still amazed by all the different ways my players manage to surprise me! When I find the right players, I prefer long-running campaigns where characters build a city, kingdom, or empire—but not every campaign or adventure has to be high stakes. I firmly believe that character choices should matter and actively influence the world around them.

Character creation

Creating your character

You will be provided with a premade god. You can select one of the 12 gods of the pantheon of this world where each god represents a character class.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

We will use Zoom, Roll20, and D&D Beyond. I recommend the free browser extension Beyond 20 to connect D&D Beyond with Roll20. Links for Zoom and the campaign will be provided before the game begins.

What Marco brings to the table

There will be music and maps with ambient lighting. I use the rules as written, but I’m open to creative ideas and cinematic moments (Rule of Cool).
