About the adventure
In Cordaya the Road Guard is highway patrol, roadside assistance, and anything else the King needs them to be. With two weeks of training, and a goal to make the roads a safer place they are sent out into the world. Characters don't need to be fighters or wizards, anyone can be assigned a year on the Road, some to avoid punishment others at the King's demand. Adventures will revolve around trying to fulfill the King’s order despite complications and confusion along the way.

About me
I've been GMing for over thirty years. I've run and played in MSH, DC Heroes, Palladium, Rifts, Champions, a little bit of GURPS, and a bunch of random one-offs. My preferred system is Risus. Allows for fun without a bunch of rules getting in the way.

Creating your character
Standard 10 Dice Risus Characters. Characters can be the fighters, wizards, clerics, etc. you'd expect in a fantasy game. They can also be regular people from the countryside or city; farmers, merchants, scribes, etc. The discord is the place to ask questions and refine the characters clichés.

What Bryan brings to the table
Very little will be needed. I run games in theatre of the mind, there will rarely be maps or handouts. The world is also mine and I'll be giving relevant information as we go through the countries and cities of Cordaya.
Homebrew rules
Technically I do use homebrew rules but it's more for one-off equipment, and bonuses for dramatic moments the character has created. Risus isn't big on rules.
