About the adventure
This adventure is one whose story has not yet be written. On the pages of the current books, a select few are able to give their truths, but there are many whose story have been lost to the waves of time. This adventure looks to these characters and seeks to answer their calling - their purpose in the grandeur narrative. Though lurking in the background, they are unsung heroes in their own light. The beginning steps of this adventure will be taken as session zero to establish timelines, canon events, story vs rpg limitations, and wanted goals for the characters. No stormlight archive or mistborn knowledge needed to play! The current story will take place on Roshar, but may move around as needed.

About me
Some dragons hoard gold. Others hoard gemstones. While I never will turn down such hoards, I hoard stories - a hoard that grows with each passing day. As a long-term roleplay writer, I enjoy creating new stories and curating prewritten ones to fit the tone or purpose of my stories, parties, and games. I have been type-roleplaying for many years, being part of the forum roleplay groups back in the age of Gaia Online and other similar groups. Since then, I have been writing posts that expressed the inner workings, the active actions, and the pointed conversations of hundreds of complex characters. This is only amplified when compiling them together to form a story that is reactive and interactable from a group seeking the next dawn. I have a corgi familiar named Fenrir who often enjoys giving me the Help action and is a mini-celebrity amongst my players, often having a related npc or party pet that represents Fenrir and his antics. I value narrative context and will do my best to fit the mechanics to the narrative you want. This has led me to curating and crafting custom content - often referred to as homebrew - for several games, players, and even other game masters. I do my best to not include AI generated imagery in my live games, choosing to not use such images for advertisement and actively replacing any edge/unknown cases with commissioned pieces, and often support growing artists in my communities. I also do not use AI in any of my play-by-post messages. This provides a raw experience to my creative inspirations.

Creating your character
Held on discord primarily, players are welcome to create their characters using any vtt or pdf/sheet option. Demiplane will be provided for easier automation if not using a custom character. Current character level: 1 Character concepts will be discussed at session 0.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need access to the Cosmere RPG books in some shape. Demiplane access will be provided if you do not have access normally and thus need a Demiplane account to access. You will need Discord downloaded to play. If you've never used a dice bot on discord please let me know and we can cover how to use that. Optionally, you can roll physical dice or use Demiplane's dice roller, though if you happen to be so lucky that it gets difficult for me to create challenging encounters I will enforce virtual dice rolls.

I provide access to the books, an evolving world with interesting npcs, and am a curator to custom needs in games.
Homebrew rules
Mistborn/Worldhopper characters can join this game with some background work. Alchemist and Tamer paths created by me will be provided as they are finished.

How Onyx (Megan) creates a safe table
I promote safety in my games in the following way: - Hard lines on unnecessary depictions of slaughter, torture, and innocent death - Avrae Safety Tools for anonymous X cards always present in my server. - Private channels for players to speak with me one on one without needing to voice to others. - Open Door Policy in case you are uncomfortable with a group or game. You are still welcome in other games or groups. - Open, Above the Table talks before scenes with potentially triggering content. Stormlight Archives has several topics that can be viewed as problematic if not taken in an respectful way. These topics can be explored at the unanimous consent to the players in the game. The topics listed in CW are not exhaustive of these topics.
