About the adventure

"A Fallout-inspired, post-apocalyptic survival saga fused with epic high fantasy, where magic, ruins, and legend shape a story-driven Dungeons and Dragons journey." You awaken from Cryo in Safe Haven Bunker 13, 25 years after the second bombing, in the year 3325. What was once a sanctuary is now a fragile stronghold buried in secrets, fear, and impossible choices. Aboveground, ancient magic and lost technology roam through shattered cities and scarred lands. Your awakening was no accident. You were chosen for a mission that cannot fail. You cannot leave the bunker. Every life inside depends on what you do next. "This dark, story-driven campaign focuses on survival, mystery, and meaningful choices. Roleplay is encouraged but never required. Combat is tactical, exploration is dangerous, and your decisions shape the world." -Runs on Foundry VTT with immersive systems like lockpicking, pickpocketing, interactive shops, and dynamic loot.- If you are ready to help rebuild this broken world, I am ready to take that journey with you.-

About me

I’m Luis, known online as Zenaku, and I’ve been running Dungeons and Dragons 5e for about eight years, starting back in 2017. What began as stepping up for a group quickly became a long-term passion. I specialize in deep worldbuilding, strong narratives, and memorable NPCs, all while keeping player choice at the center of the story. I run D&D 5e across many different tones and genres, from classic fantasy to darker or more experimental themes, while staying true to the system. My sessions balance solid preparation with room for improvisation, letting player decisions shape the world in meaningful ways. My goal is to create immersive, character driven adventures where players feel fully invested and walk away remembering the stories we built together.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be created before the first session using D&D Beyond, then imported into Foundry VTT. This helps everything run smoothly once the game begins and ensures everyone starts ready to play. If you are new, I will gladly walk you through the process step by step. Stats will be rolled using the classic roll-for-stats method / Group choice. You will roll twice and choose the best result for your Ability Score assignment. This campaign embraces risk and unpredictability, so your strengths and weaknesses will be part of what makes your character unique. All characters will start at Level 5 and receive one free feat at character creation. This is a modern, post-apocalyptic fantasy world with high fantasy, meaning firearms, advanced tech, and pre-war relics exist alongside magic, swords, and mythical races. Keep the setting in mind when designing your character and backstory. All races and classes are allowed in this setting. Starting Equipment Regular class starting gear This includes mundane gear, spell components, and basic supplies. Starting Potions Potion of Healing x3 Potion of Greater Healing x1 Starting Magic Items Each character begins with: 1 Rare item 2 Uncommon items (no armor, shields allowed) 3 Common items (no armor, shields allowed)

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will be invited to the campaign Discord and D&D Beyond before the first session. Discord will be used for communication and voice, and D&D Beyond will be used for character creation. Characters will then be imported into Foundry VTT for gameplay. -No Foundry or D&D Beyond experience is required. If you need help creating your character, you are more than welcome to ask.-

What Zenaku brings to the table

My GM style focuses on immersion, meaningful choices, and cinematic moments. I use ambient music, sound effects, and atmosphere to bring scenes to life. I enjoy giving NPCs distinct personalities and voices when possible, but the goal is always immersion, not performance. Combat is tactical, intense, and dangerous, but never unfair. I reward creative thinking, teamwork, and clever fun solutions. I follow the rules when they matter, but I also embrace the Rule of Cool when it makes a moment more memorable or fun. Most importantly, this is a collaborative story. I adapt the world to your actions, not the other way around. If you try something bold, strange, or unexpected, I will always find a way to respond. Your choices shape the narrative, the world, and its future.
