About the adventure

Season of Ghosts is a character-driven Pathfinder 2e campaign set in the haunted land of Shenmen in Tian Xia. You play as residents of the quiet riverside town of Willowshore, a place long accustomed to strange omens and wandering spirits, but when supernatural disasters begin to escalate with the coming of summer, it becomes clear that something far more dangerous is stirring. Over the course of four seasons, you and your fellow heroes must protect your home from restless ghosts, sinister fiends, and ancient curses before the town is swallowed by a growing tide of darkness. This is a story-focused adventure that emphasizes roleplay, relationships, and meaningful choices. Much of the campaign revolves around interacting with the townsfolk, uncovering mysteries, and deciding how your characters respond to moral dilemmas and escalating threats. While combat certainly exists and can be challenging, it is treated as a tool for storytelling rather than the main focus. Encounters often include narrative stakes, secondary objectives, and situations that test your priorities beyond simply defeating enemies. At its heart, this is a campaign about community, resilience, and how ordinary people confront extraordinary horrors. You’re not wandering heroes passing through: this is your home, these are your neighbors, and what happens to Willowshore depends on you. Welcome All! This will be my *fourth* time running SoG. Season of Ghosts is a level 1-12 Adventure Path that sees players defending their home town of Willowshore from a series of deadly curses. I'm predicting the campaign will take between 30 to 45 sessions to complete. Players must be able to commit to the game on a weekly basis for the duration of the campaign. For Lovers of Roleplay: My table is best suited for players who enjoy immersive storytelling, developing their characters over time, and working collaboratively to shape the narrative. If you like exploring personal arcs, forming connections with NPCs, and watching your choices influence the fate of a living world, you’ll feel right at home here. Players seeking a purely combat-heavy or optimization-focused experience may find the campaign’s slower, narrative-driven pacing less aligned with their expectations. Experience Required: Players must be able to build a 1st level character and have a basic understanding of the PF2E ruleset.

About me

Hi! I’m a GM who simply loves telling stories and creating unforgettable experiences at the table. At the end of the day, I run games because I genuinely enjoy playing with others, crafting worlds together, and watching a group build something unique that could never exist anywhere else. I started my TTRPG journey about six years ago during college, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Over the years I’ve played and run a wide variety of systems, including D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, Cyberpunk RED, the Cosmere RPG, Triangle Agency, and several homebrew and niche games. Exploring different systems has helped me develop a flexible style that adapts to the needs of each group rather than forcing players into a single “right” way to play. My biggest priority as a GM is creating a space where everyone feels comfortable, respected, and free to express themselves both in and out of character. I care deeply about making sure players feel safe, heard, and that they’re having fun. If you enjoy character-driven storytelling, meaningful choices, collaborative worldbuilding, and a GM who genuinely wants to help create a memorable experience tailored to the table, you’ll probably feel right at home in my games.

What Orion brings to the table

- I host a private discord server that only includes myself and the players from my campaigns. I will DM you a link to this server upon you joining the campaign. - I use FoundryVTT via MoltenHosting to host my campaigns via internet browser. You will find a link to the Foundry page via the Handouts channel of the discord server. - I handpick fitting music and ambiance for my scenes, and I tend to create custom encounters and rebalance according to my party's tastes.

How Orion creates a safe table

My tables use Lines & Veils and the X-Card to establish boundaries and ensure everyone feels comfortable. These tools provide an easy way to pause or adjust content if something becomes uncomfortable. We will discuss content warnings and other safety details in greater detail during session 0. Session 0 will take up the first hour of session 1. During session 0, we will discuss safety tools, go over final character builds, and discuss various other aspects of the adventure.
