Adventure Awaits! This will be a Local Redmond, OR campaign accepting all players, and catering to the D&D Novice. Players can expect to play a part in the once thriving town of Phandelver, as it tries to recover from years of raiding from Orcs, Bandits and other assortments of infiltration. Be the Hero this town deserves as you unveil the truth behind Phandelvers misfortune. Games will be played Locally in Redmond, OR at Pangaea guild Hall.

About me
Hi, I'm Matty! That's what my friends call me anyway, and I've never met more amazing people than when I started playing D&D. I wish I could tell you my life has been filled with TTRPG experiences, but that just isn't the case. I found out about the world of TTRPG in 2015 after stumbling across a YouTube video called D&Diesel, which was DM'd by Matthew Mercer of Critical Role. His ability to describe environments, and keep the game flowing entranced me and I found myself scrambling to find a group of locals that were playing. The community I discovered shortly after has enriched my life to the fullest. Since this new world of D&D had now taken precedence, I began teaching myself to DM as a way to understand the game on every level. Years of experience has led me to this, and every adventure still feels so special.

Creating your character
Characters will start at Level 1 and will level up according to story Milestones. Any 1st Level character made with official content will be accepted. Players without a character will be assisted with creation at the Session 0.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a basic understanding of the D&D 5E system, but I am happy to answer questions about rules during game play. Players should bring a Character Sheet, Dice/tray, Pencil and Paper. I will also have extra in case anyone forgets.
What Matty brings to the table
I will bring everything required to play 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons, including Books, Maps, Minis, Dice and Myself as the Game Master.

How Matty creates a safe table
Players will meet for a Session 0, where we will discuss our Rules and Procedures, followed by an overview of Player Characters and Expectations. Players can expect a casual paced combat environment and basic roleplay between encounters.
